I've had several issues with this particular store. I am a door dasher and normally understand the whole understaffing thing. One night I pull through to get my order and there was 3 people in the store I understand things are a bit hectic right now so I wait patiently and they got the order out pretty quickly. I get another order for taco bell and return to be told at the box of the drive thru they are not taking orders at the moment they are too backed up and shutting down door dash so I would have to cancel the order, ok also fine. Was having issues with the app and had to come back to taco bell and when I pull back up a few seconds later two of the employees were outside smoking in front of the building. The next issue I had when I visited this store was just horrible and I will NEVER return because of it. I pulled into the drive thru and told the lady my order she was very nice and told me to pull up when I got to the window she began to hand me a box with the tacos falling out so I simply asked if she could put it in a bag and she immediately slammed the window turned around and started screaming. Another employee handed me out the order and I asked if I had caused a problem by asking for a bag and as soon as I did she lunged at the window and tried to attack me the other employee had to hold her back. Read moreI placed a large order through the app ahead of time. When I arrived two ladies working the drive thru (both speaker and window) we're extremely nice. They were up beat and pleasant. They helped me do a separate small order to add the few items that weren't available to order on the app. They explained my order was large (about $45) and that I should pull forward. They told me someone would be right out with my food. I waited about 25 minutes (I arrived at 7:55 and pulled away at 8:18) before I called to ask how much longer they thought it would be. The person in the phone said "she's bringing your food out now". At that point a woman walked out of the building (no mask) caring one bag with all of my order. As she handed me the bag she rudely said "both orders". I took the bag and she turned around to walk back in. I said "thank you and have a good night". She didn't acknowledge me at all. The experience with the women at the window is the only reason I'm giving this location two stars. They were great. The rest of the experience was not. I will say this... I cannot be the only customer who utilizes their lobby. There is absolutely no reason that with more than 5 team members present during my visit no one was aware, until I informed them, that the Cherry Pepsi was out of syrup for the lobby dispenser. That's shameful really. And to make matters worse, no one was in a hurry to make that fix even after I alerted them to the issue. However, the male working the drive thru window with the headset on, did fulfill my drink order via his soda dispenser.
The real killer was the quality of, or lack thereof, my Chicken Chalupa Supreme. My ingredients might as well have been served on a Ritz cracker shell as it disintegrated with every bite I took. Eventually I was eating said Chalupa with a spork out of the wrapper I received it in. I'm guessing the 5+ staff member crew forgot to check the dates on the shells before serving them or simply failed to close the packaging between uses.
