Johnny Brusco's New York Style Pizza — Restaurant in Auburn

I literally NEVER write reviews but this was so bad I couldn’t resist. This was the most disgusting, disturbing, and downright nasty pizza I have ever tasted (and I grew up eating Tostinos). I had the misfortune of ordering the two slice combo with drink. It took 30+ minutes and the pizza I got looked like it was cooked yesterday or repurposed from lunch hour. That sauce with all those horrible “Italian” spices was just downright insulting to real pizzerias everywhere. You can tell that the pizza had been sitting somewhere just ripening with bacteria due to the way the freaking SAUCE was clumped together, how hard the cheese was hard, and the fact that the pizza was lukewarm. My son and I both had stomachaches after eating this hot mess and I couldn’t even eat all of it! I’m crossing this place off my list..I’d expect this from somewhere like Sams but dang this is a restaurant! And I’ve been to plenty who serve by the slice and it’s absolutely hot and fresh or at least they had decency to to attempt to heat it, so no excuses. A group of six of us went for dinner. We waited for almost 20 minutes for our table while there was actually no one sitting on the two big tables for group over five. After sitting down and deciding what to order for about 10-15 minutes, no waitress came to us during this time offering water or taking the order. The waitress just walked by without even looking at us. She seemed to pretend this table of six just not exist, but she’s pretty responsive to all other WHITE guests. I had to stop her and tell her we were ready to order.

We were eventually taken care of by another lady, who seems to be a manger. The only reason I’m giving a two star is because she’s nice.

I would not recommend this place to anyone who is not white. The waitress who ignored us definitely is a racist, just as mentioned from one of the previous post.
