My wife and I went to the drive-thru and order keto coffee and keto berry. After getting to window we waited a while. We were handed the berry and asked to move foward only to be told everyone is new and don't what they are doing. After moving foward I tasked the berry which was purple and it tasted like coffee. I then went in and asked if the berry was supposed to taste like coffee. The employee advised me that it shouldn't and asked if I wanted a refund. I advised him that I want my drink. After 30 minutes he gave my wife her coffee smoothie and not mine. He stated that he thought I didn't want mine and I told him I did. We waited q0 mote minutes for him to fix my berry smoothie. After going in and asking for a refund the manager insisted on arguing that his employee told him that I didn't want it remade and that his employee was right and I was wrong. When I brought this to the attention of the associate assisting me (a young woman with glasses and braids), I was told that there were trainees working today and that the portions vary depending on who prepares the smoothies.
As someone who travels frequently for work and regularly visits Smoothie King locations, I found the inconsistency in portion size and the response disappointing. Despite visibly expressing concern, no effort was made to remake the drinks or address the issue in a meaningful way. Read moreI don’t know who that new young lady is but she shouldn’t be allowed to make smoothies at all! Two visits and I have received horrible smoothies when she makes them. They both tasted like Oat milk and protein powder nothing else and was not blended properly you could literally turn the cup upside down and not a drop would fall out the cup! The first time I just asked for a refund and the second time the other young lady made it after I had to come back to the store. No accountability at all she seems to like to use the I’m new excuse. Once the other young lady made it the smoothie came out perfect. Going forward I will be safe and go inside that way she no longer makes my smoothies.
