Well Red Read: Second Story is hands-down my favorite coffee shop in Auburn. The coffee, drinks, and food selection is spot on and will satisfy any appetite no matter what time of day. Various quiches, muffins, biscuits, and breakfast cookies are perfect with your favorite morning coffee. Their red velvet cookie is a very satisfying afternoon snack. And an after dinner glass of wine paired with cheesecake is excellent choice while having a relaxing conversation with family and friends. The environment in here is wonderful, it’s the perfect place to have coffee with a friend, read or study. The owners are extremely personable and always provide a welcoming smile and are willing to chat if you want! This place is too mediocre to be so expensive. Looking at the menu it doesn't seem expensive but they charge at least 50¢ for any kind of add on, or if you wanna sub your milk. There have been times where my coffee is amazing but there have also been times it was straight trash, it really depends who's working. And some cashiers try to make your coffee super expensive for nothing. Why did I spend $9 on a 12oz coffee? Idk but I haven't...
