Pelican's SnowBalls — Restaurant in Auburndale

My family and myself have been going here for years now and it never gets old. we have tried so many different flavors from banana to gator to dill pickle to soft ice cream etc... its all great price is great as well cant beat it. also did i mention u can get candy inside ur snowball from nerds to worms to butterfly gummies.....its great to take the lil ones....the one thing we learned yesterday that we didnt know cause we havent dont it in along time was that the mini gulf isnt free anymore and infact they are charging 2$ a person to gulf as if the snowball price wasnt enough.....were not happy about this after buying 7 snowballs yesterday different sizes we still had to pay more for gulf. as i stated before we been coming here for many years and it use to be free whi h was great but hiking it up to 2$ person is way to much. may i reccommend that you come up with a buy 2 get gulf free or buy 5 get 3 players for gulff free options cause last nite cost 40$ for 5 adults n 2 kids. thats alot for ices and gulf for 2 kids. yes u guys rock all the time but inflatiin doesnt have to be that expensive for a hour of fun. please rethink in a...

I’ve been here plenty of times I have never had an issue. Yesterday I bought a snowcone for myself and my kid that she said that it tasted rotten. I explained to the lady who seem to be new at the counter. To Please exchange it and she said no that we would need to purchase a new one. I said it’s very sad that you’re willing to lose a Customer over four dollars for a cone that you made and tasted horrible. I left the cone on the counter for the lady with no customer service skills. Needless to say, I won’t return there with my godchild, children or any of my grandkids to spend another penny for a place that does not provide customer service or have any type of common sense. Perhaps they need a new employee since I’ve been coming there six years and never had an issue with snowcones when they were made right until yesterday.

Another local business losing...

My husband and I stopped here with our kids & ordered 4 snow cones with a teenage girl working the window who was super rude. Added toppings for my kids and when my husband grabbed the first two he asked if they were on because we didn’t see them. (Our first time here so we didn’t know they put toppings in the middle of the snow cones) they’re was an older woman who worked there as well that practically yelled at him for asking. Then when the girl handed us the last two through the window she made it point to scream “ WITH NERDS!” Unbelievable. Apparently you can’t ask a question here lol. Customer service stinks. The place looks so cute from the outside but the attitudes of the people working need improvement. We’ll probably go to a different...
