My score minus 1 star. Usually have a decent experience out of this location but this one was much different. I made it to the drive through. I was the only car in line. I ask them to hold while I look at the menu. A minute later I am ready and get their attention. Then they tell me to hold on. I wait. 4 minutes pass. 10 minutes pass. I then look behind me and it’s at least 5 cars behind me but no one attending the drive through. As other cars begin to pass by and go inside, I choose to do the same. Now instead of being next in line to and waiting in line. Finally I get to order my food after all this time. The manager (on her name tag) comes inside holding the headset in her hand, obviously not working it. Then the other guy with a headset just standing at the window. He (short African American with short dreads) seemed to be waiting on the manager. Finally she assists him. After that, she (the manager) checks with the cook (no hairnet by the way) for her to describe a person that they were goin to deliver food for. Everything seemed to be fresh with my order except the main dish. I ordered a Giant fish sandwich and it was definitely not fresh. What the hell was cook doing for me not to get a fresh sandwich they had plenty of orders to cook and pass out as cooked. Worst service I’ve gotten in a while. I hope NOBODY goes to this place. Read moreI've tried really hard to give this place the benefit of doubt, because we all have bad days. However, it never fails...they ALWAYS get my order wrong; pairing that with the long wait times in the drive-thru and high prices, they're getting a one star rating from me. I don't get up to Augusta very often, but on the occasion that I am and I want something light to eat, I attempt to drop by Captain D's, in hopes of something decent to eat and hopefully quick, but they just can't seem to get it done. Today, not only did they get my order wrong (as usual), but they completely neglected to add the rice; at nearly $13 for a to-go plate, I fully expect not only for my order to be accurate, but to actually put the full order on the plate. On a previous visit when they, of course messed up my order, I went in to bring attention to such and the manager acted as if it were more of my problem than hers, so I didn't go in on today, as I had places to be and it just wasn't worth the aggrevation, I'll let Google reviews do it's work!! Read moreTalk about hurry up and wait, on 6/11/2021 at 3:45 pm we were in the drive through and waited for 30 minutes behind 4 cars. After 35 minutes of waiting no one had moved. I called the store and asked if there was an issue with the drive through. The young man stated no, there was no one in line. I explained that was incorrect, there were 8 vehicles in line and I was #5 in line and no one had moved in 35 minutes. The young man stated we at a different store, not theirs. Again, I explained I was at the correct store. The young man then stated there was a problem with their order board intercom system. Suddenly the 1st of 2 cars gave their orders back to back. Again we waited for 15 minutes as there was no movement. I got out and talked to the female driver waiting to order. She stated they told her they would be with her in a minute. You could hear the staff carrying on from the speaker. When the driver asked if she could order the person on the intercom stated, just a minute please. In 10 more minutes only 1 car advanced so I, like several cars behind me left with no dinner.. I think anyone would agree 45 +minutes in a drive through...
