Carota's Pizza — Restaurant in Augusta

I gave this business a bigot 1, because there's not a smaller number in the scale!!!! We ordered 2 steak hoagies and cheese sticks and they told us 30-35 min. Mind you we live in Foster, not Augusta. When we went to pick our food up they told us another 10-15 minutes. When we drove around and sit in the parking lot, they still didn't have our food ready. I asked the nice lady in front of me and the kind gentleman how long they were told before they pick their food up and it was the same time frame they had gave me. Mind you, the very nice lady I asked had two bags of food, but had to wait on the extra food she called in after she first called. They finally have our food and the hoagies are cold, and not even what we ordered! I'm usually a very nice person, but I'm sorry that didn't show tonight. We usually tip for to go orders from there, but not tonight!!!! So disappointed! Worked all day to go to pick up half ass food!!!! I will think twice before...

What a horrible 1st visit. I travel all over and when you visit a mom and pop looking restaurant you expect really good food and a wonderful experience. This being one of the only restaurants in town I was highly surprised it was completely empty besides myself. I asked the waitress if the chicken parmesan was good and if it was real chicken. She said it was so I ordered it. It ended up being a quarter inch thick frozen chicken patty that they attempted to Grille and it was quite disgusting. Overall the spaghetti was cooked correctly in the sauce I'm sure comes out of a can and was not made in the restaurant. I'm very surprised a larger food chain doesn't just buy this place and sell better food. The highlight of the dinner was the garlic bread. It was cooked perfectly crispy and seasoned wonderfully. I will try this place again in the future and maybe give it a better review when I try something else that's been frozen and...

Wife, kids, and I decided to go out to eat on a Monday night. We decided on Carota's since our oldest wanted pizza. I love Carota's food but we usually only get carry out. We went in and sat down and it was a very long time before anyone waited on us. We thought maybe we were supposed to order first then sit down. We weren't sure. We eventually got a waitress who took our order. After a while other people were coming in and ordering. We waited and waited and then noticed some of the others were already eating. We eventually got our food and by this time our drinks were empty. Long story short food is good service is lacking. We actually heard a waitress walk up to one table and say "what y'all...
