The moment I pulled up to this place I had high hopes, and those hopes were fulfilled. I could talk about the modern, comfortable and clean store itself, or the wonderful friendly staff---but the bagels. Oh my. The bagels are some of the best I have ever had but the combinations and toppings are what make them achieve their glory. This is a new gem with a rapidly growing customer base for a reason! The menu is a one-page size and each bagel is perfected (at least all the ones I have tried so far). And they always have some tempting different pastry at the checkout. No overstimulation or choice fatigue! The Honey Rosemary bagel made me want to cry, instant love. If you're in the area or a regular commuter, look no further. This calming, charming, diamond on the corner is certain to soothe your hunger and excite your taste buds. Pictured: Barnabas, Arsenal, Augustine, and a Fruity Pebble w/ whipped...

Well I wanted a bagel sandwich but they use frozen pre-made instead of cracked fresh eggs (Even Wendy's has fresh eggs) So I order a cinnamon toast w/ CC since they don't have cinnamon raisin, it literally taste like a plain bagel except every few bites you get a hint of cinnamon sugar. And that cost me over 5$. I will stick with Bagel Mainea. UPDATE: Won't let me respond to owners comment but I literally asked the cashier if they cracked their eggs fresh and she told me they get them PRE MADE. So if that is not the case please educate your employees. Or have them ask a co-staff when they do not know, instead of giving incorrect...

I am currently devouring the Martha Ballard Celebratory bagel: anadama bagel with maple molasses cream cheese. It is DEEEEElicious.

They also have cool things on shelves: i.e.raspberry sugar from Lecker Spice in Knox, Maine. And in the fridge are snack packs of pickled green beans and pickled carrots and a variety of cool beverages.

The building is a former cotton mill! There are picnic tables outside and lots of seating upstairs. A little seating on the main floor.

Also got a brown butter espresso blondie. It was difficult to choose...

This place is above and beyond for flavor and selection. Get there early as they do sell out most days. Fresh made daily. If you like bagels n cream cheese, they have a large variety that I am sure changes regularly, plus the old stand-by, Plain. Have a bagel and take in the view of the river or take a walk lots of open space inside and out. Historic building has a charm to it that it has never had it has a love of food pouring out in all directions. Go check them out it's worth the trip.... In my opinion, it is.
