I ordered a bag of ice in the drive thru today at 6:15pm was given the total and told we will bring it out to you shorty . Didn’t tell me to pull up (I have common sense) but I thought to myself there is no such thing as courtesy anymore so I pulled all the way up to where the door was and railing begins for the seated areas thinking at most I will wait 4-6 minutes it’s 1 item a bag of ice . That’s not what happened at all . I waited 12 minutes while I watched people who also chose the drive thru who ordered multiple food items and drinks get there’s who didn’t sit any longer than 3 minutes. I can understand busy and things happen but because I was parked first in line they would walk up to my truck first and soon as I said no that’s not mine when the read it out loud the walked away while I was talking to them and I wasn’t giving them a hard time at all I was trying to ask to confirm my order was put in thinking maybe it was so busy it didn’t get put in or that the people behind me were online orders. I’m not going to call out or describe because I work in customer service you get busy and overwhelmed but they also need to learn to at least say I will be with you shortly to answer your question or notice or care that you have seen a car sitting there normal than a time period for the drive thru even for dinner hour . There were 2 other employees who handled it ,got it too me quickly as soon as I told them I had been waiting more than 10 minutes on a bag of ice . I explained I wasn’t complaining I just didn’t know cause I never use the drive thru and it was my first time purchasing a bag of ice . It was a man and a woman they have excellent customer service skills both smiled at me and apologized even tho I never became upset other than the first 2 I tried to ask when they read the orders to me and I said no they didn’t say another word turned walked away as I was speaking trying to get out I am waiting on a bag of ice . You never know what kind of day someone is having . CSR no you don’t have to take bullying or being talked to or treated poorly but you need to think like a customer if you want to be great at your job . What if that were you ? Would you want to come back ? I wouldn’t if it weren’t for the last 2 employees I dealt with . Gave the woman a $5 told her to keep the change I wish I would have tipped the gentleman too . They both were politie , friendly and knew a smile and acting quickly would change the experience from negative to positive . One star for the bad part of...
Read moreRecently stopped by this location, tried to use my app, which has been a problem at previous locations and for over the last year or so it works only some of the time other times it will let me go through the whole order process and then have a issue at the end. I have had issues with the app before so I understand that it is not the locations issue however I was speaking with someone and let them know that the app was malfunctioning. When I said, I just want you guys to know so that you can let your manager know so that they can tell the owners or corporate. She was very happy to say I am the manager and she said we have told them there’s nothing they’re gonna do about it they don’t care. And they’re not going to fix it and when I said, I just want to complain so that you can pass along the message. This is what she said then she said is there something I can else I can help you with ma’am disregarding my request, even though it was Valid and said and kindness she was just rude for no reason and I still do think that the message needs to be passed along. There are major issues with the app and I’m sure they all know it, but I’m the current customer still having the same issue so I have not resolved this yet. It was unexpected because I was being very pleasant and just trying to get us route 44 sweet tea, which I told her at the beginning so I don’t understand why she was being so rude but whatever that was my experience at this location her name was just Cheyenne and she said and you can tell them that so I assured her I would I would not visit this location again, especially if having to interact with Cheyenne because she wasn’t Just unfriendly, she was...
Read moreMy family and I visited Sonic on Friday night, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've ever had. My daughter, home from college, ordered a hot dog combo with an additional side of onion rings. After leaving, we realized there was no hot dog in the bun—just an empty bun. When we returned, the first worker took the bun, and then the "manager" came out and rudely claimed that he knew we had already received the hot dog. He refused to replace it or issue a refund, even though we clearly had not gotten what we paid for. Instead, he offered us two medium sodas—which cost more than the hot dog—but this felt more like an insult than a resolution.
I later spoke with another manager who, while slightly more professional, still refused to refund the money, claiming the refund “offer” had expired. However, that was never communicated to us initially. Instead, they offered a free meal, which did little to repair the damage caused by their dismissive attitude.
As someone in a leadership role myself, I am appalled by the lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic accountability at this location. Judging by the other low reviews for this Sonic, it's clear that this is not an isolated incident. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend that corporate or the owners reevaluate the team running this location. It's clear changes are needed to restore...
