Wings 2 Go — Restaurant in Augusta

Tonight, I experienced my first HORRIBLE, OFFENSIVE service from this establishment that I frequent OFTEN. I ordered beef and broccoli (no beef) and two 10 piece Chinese chicken wings. I asked (as I always do) for the broccoli to be steamed well. When I got home and began eating, the broccoli tasted weird. I tried to continue eating it but couldn’t get past the taste. It was as though the broccoli or sauce was spoiled. I’m not sure, but not good at all. I called to let them know I’d need a replacement or refund, but that I wouldn’t be coming back out tonight because it was already past 9:30 pm.and that I’d come tomorrow. The girl taking the call explained that she was told that I had to come tonight if I wanted a replacement or refund. I told her, that was crazy considering how late it was, but that I was coming to get a refund.

When I arrived, I politely handed the bag of food over which contained everything I ordered except one of the 10 piece Chinese chicken wings. The woman whom I’ll assume is part owner, looked in the bag, poured out the chicken wings and then just stood looking displeased that I was asking for a refund. When she saw my receipt in the bag, she stated, “I see right here you order well done. That’s why.” I replied, “I always ask for the broccoli to be cooked well done, and it’s never tasted that way.” She went on to start my refund in the register and still looked displeased. She then said, “something wrong with wings too?” I said, “no, but since I had to come back tonight, I want a refund for them both.” She then handed me my refund and said,” don’t order anymore.” I replied, “no problem at all.”

To tell me not to order anymore was extremely rude, dismissive, and nasty. I wasn’t upset that the broccoli didn’t taste well. I realize things like that sometimes occur in restaurants. I would’ve come back even with the fact that she was displeased with having to issue me a refund, but to go so far as to tell me not to order anymore was wrong and showed she was more concerned with the loss of a profit more than she was concerned with how she could fix the issue itself. New to the area and i love chinese food. This place came HIGHLY recommended and now I know exactly why. This is my go to order; Sesame chicken with house friend rice or lo mein. They have a wide variety of food including; chinese food, wings, seas food boils, fried food and chinese fried fried donuts. a picture of a fish sandwich. It definitely lives up to the hype as you will see when you arrive and there is a lobby of other customers. They are really quick with your order as well. Plenty of times I've called while 10-15 mins away from here and my oder was just then ready. Always Hot and Fresh! Love this place and it has become my Saturday...

This was my literal first doordash pick up, I said “Hi! I have a doordash order for pick up please?” she yelled at me that she needs the name for the order. I told her this was my first order and to bare with me while I find it. She responded by yelling she “couldn’t just GIVE IT TO ME”. I explained again I just needed a minute. The whole interaction was so rude that even if they do have decent food, (Doesn’t seem like it) you couldn’t pay me to eat one wing. The place could definitely be cleaned better. Horrible...
