Korean Food Express — Restaurant in Augusta

The service was adequate, and the server was quite perky, but the food was a huge let down. My wife ordered the Cauliflower Bang Bang and Dumplings as her dinner (not as an appetizer), and I the Beef Pho. The Bang Bang came out as an app, well before my Pho, and we waited and waited for the eggrolls. Finally went in and talked to the Host (because our server was unavailable) who went and asked our server what the hold up was. The server finally came out and asked what the problem was and we informed her that we never got the Eggrolls, but my wife corrected me and said it was the Dumplings she ordered. Our server apologized profusely and said she'd take care of it. I then explained that my Pho was not that great, had no flavor at all, was now cold (because I didn't want to eat it all while waiting for my wife's food), and was very lacking in the beef, which, for the price we were paying should have had more than two small shavings of beef. Eventually the Chef came out and asked about the Pho, and I repeated my complaint to him. He suggested that I was perhaps thinking it was supposed to be a Ramen type broth and I quickly informed him that I knew the difference between Pho and Ramen stock. He apologized and said he'd put in another order (since I'd barely eaten any of it). When the Dumplings finally arrived with the second serving of Pho, which was delivered by the Chef, the dumplings were quite good, and the new serving of Pho was much better. They comp'd the food, which was not want I asked for, so that was nice. Still tipped our server a generous amount based on what the meal should have cost. Great place to order food the menu dishes I recommend is the Bibimbop, Yakimandu and fried shrimp. There are many dishes to choose from. Lunch specials are available if you want a quick bite to eat you can do delivery or call-in for your order.

Conveniently located 2 minutes from Gate 5 on Tobacco road and Crest Drive in Hephzibah. The building is small but offers a small dining area with only two medium sized tables.

Staff was friendly but the beef bulgogi was lacking.

I’ve been craving Korean food and this place was the closest. I decided to do one of the lunch specials of beef bulgolgi because I figured that Korean staple would be the best. The beef was dry, but thankfully they give you a whole second container of banchan so it balances it out the dryness. The potstickers were also dry and/or overcooked. The portions were generous though for $10
