Grumpy Gaucho — Restaurant in Aurora Township

Not sure why I haven't chimed in yet. I haven't worked my way through all their flavors yet, but I've loved them all. I often check what new filling they may have for the day, and get those.

I first discovered these tasty pockets of goodness at their food trailer. Happy they opened this brick and mortar store only 15 min from home.

Delicious! We ordered the Beef Criolla, Chicken Pesto, and Ham and Cheese Empanadas. They were all great. We also got the Choripan, which we made on the grill. All the food was delicious! Had the pleasure of trying Grumpy Gaucho’s empanadas and churros at the Lombard Food Truck Fest on 9/16 - and, there is nothing grumpy about it! The empanadas were SO GOOD! So much flavor packed into each option, I could have easily had 10 more. And it was the best churro I’ve had in a long time. Look forward to finding him again next food...
