The country chicken fried steak is, without a doubt, the best we’ve ever had. The steak is perfectly tender on the inside while maintaining a delightful crunch on the outside. Perhaps they were under staffed this day. I didn't like it! They hadn't even vacuumed, the ketchup container at our table was dirty. Even the menu was sticky! If anything had been wiped down I would have been surprised. The food wasn't on point for me. And we waited at least 30 minutes before our luke warm food came out. Our server was very apologetic. She wasn't the cook folks, I know that! Pandemic or not, wipe down people! Our servers had at least 3 other tables with 4 or more customers. Which could explain why we didn't get refills like water, I actually had to get up to get my own drink. Restaurants are saying that they are hurting. Who isn't? I can cook at home. And clean up my own mess! In this case the picture is not worth a thousand words, the beans were stiff and cool. The sauce was starting to jell. Honestly I got indigestion later. And no I didn't finish my food that I paid and tipped for.
