So my sister and I decided to go try someplace new tonight. Read the reviews and thought this was going to be a very different experience. Huge floor to ceiling TVs, disco lights going, yet college football is playing. Our server Justin was awesome. There's no bartender even though there's a pretty awesome bar. No owner, no manager, just the server who doesn't bartend and a cook. Also there is no lighting! Calamari could have been much better but it was overcooked and rubbery. The edamame was pretty good and the seafood platter was wild! Did I mention there were no regular lights? The only way you can see what you're eating is if the TV screens get really bright. I have never seen such an unorganized hot mess in my life. Obviously the owner doesn't care about this establishment and it is definitely going to go downhill really fast. Again this could have so much potential if they had a good manager, bartender and a full wait staff and an owner who cared! Thanks Justin, you are amazing and obviously the only reason why this place even has its doors open. You deserve...
Read moreWe came for their soft opening since we saw one of their meals on Instagram. Although they are just opening, they show a lot of promise. The decor is beautiful, and there's always something to see or look at, and the live band was a beautiful touch. We got to listen to some lively jazz music as we dined. They have a large drink menu and an open bar. We ended up getting the fresh mushroom bbq skewers and the garlic seafood platter with some of the spicy sauce on the side just to try. Be warned if you get the spicy platter, it has quite a bit of heat to it! The platter was a big portion that the two of us were able to share. Everything was well seasoned and cooked fresh, so each plate came out hot. The staff was friendly and attentive, and even though they were fine tuning a few things, it didn't take away from the service or the experience. You can see the great effort they are putting toward the restaurant. We'll ...
Read moreMy excitement quickly ended after they were late opening. There was a party the night before but because of short staff issues they were unable to clean up. When I arrived at 4pm the waiter was waiting for the owner to open up. Upon entering I noticed the floors were filthy, it was dark and gloomy. I decided to try something simple because I was skeptical to get anything fancy. I ordered a coke that was watered down, seaweed salad that tasted liked fish oil and a beef, onion and rice bowl that had a stale taste and the beef was thinly sliced but was tough as rubber. And the boiled eggs did not look edible. It was so gross I took about 3 bites and was like... Check please! I didn't even feel like debating paying for the tab. 10 min later I paid my $27 and vowed to never ever patron this...
