So, I had been to this place before and had great service and great food. So I go there again decide on the biscuits and gravy and a cup of coffee. No refill on the cup of coffee so I was choking down the last of my eggs and hash browns when I found out that the biscuits and gravy were sweet. The biscuit was sweet like a scone, weird, and the gravy was sweetish definitely not savory, I couldn't eat it. So I shoved it to the edge of the table and the waiter never came back no refill on the cup of coffee, no how are you doing, no how was your food today. So I didn't get a chance to articulate my displeasure. My mom taught me to make biscuits and gravy when I was 15, I'm 68 now my biscuits and gravy or like everybody's they're good how do you mess up biscuits and gravy. If you want to do some gourmet, different recipe hey let us know in the menu so we can avoid ordering it if we want something traditional. Needless to say I left hungry and I stiffed the guy. We'd heard some glowing reviews for this place from friends, so decided to check it out. My barbacoa burrito started out 5 stars - it was so yummy, and the green chile was nicely spiced and peppery. About a 1/4 of the way through I hit 3 solid bites of fat, and that dropped my 5 stars to 4. My husband had the same issue, and his food came out lukewarm, so his dropped to 3. Tacos were good, so overall rating is 4. Service was fine - we had some questions and they were answered well by our order taker, and she was friendly and nice. If you’re looking for authentic this is NOT it!!! This is fake Mexican food. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was nasty! I paid for extra potatoes which mean extra portions and instead it was the opposite not to mention the potatoes are frozen out a bag not authentic at all. Don’t get fooled by the looks! The green chili has no flavor it must be store bought as well! If I could get a refund I would I’m still hungry for $6 I could have just went to McDonald’s and settled for a McGriddle meal over this place. Not satisfied at all with the service or quality...
