So my son and I often visit this restaurant after our karate class, and usually find it to be a great place and well maintained. However, the last time we were there, the service was simply horrible. It was in the evening on August 9th, 2022. We go in, and I go to one of the kiosks to order. I place and order for a 4 piece chicken nuggets, a two cheeseburger meal, and a filet-o-fish meal, the drinks being orange soda and coke. I enter our number, pay $17.10 for the meal and wait for the receipt. None was given. Not a big deal. It's happened before without issue. So we wait. 20 minutes go by. My kid is getting hungry. We're watching people who ordered after us get their stuff. I go up to the counter, and I admit, I was a little frustrated. A manager came up to me, asked me if I was okay, and I said "Yes, but I'm---" He then proceeded to walk away from me before I even got a sentence out. The next one ask for the receipt, which I did not have. I showed him the kiosk where I ordered, told him exactly what I ordered, what I paid, and asked what could be done about the food that I had paid for. He shrugged and moved onto the next customer. Long story short, I talked to four different individuals, told each one what I had ordered, and each one dismissed everything that I said, even when I had other customers offering to split their meal with us IN FRONT OF THE STAFF because they saw me place the order. In fact, at least one of the staff actually laughed in my face. It wasn't until I raised my voice and and started shouting for all the restaurant to hear that any thing remotely like customer service was done. They hastily through a bag together including two cheeseburgers, a fry, and a fish sandwich. Oh, and I had to yell to get drinks. I got an orange soda and what tasted like a diet coke. In other words, I was still missing a chicken nuggets, a fry, and got a wrong drink.
So basically, after paying for a meal, trying to resolve the issues with the order FOUR SEPARATE TIMES, and not until I started to shout like a hysterical Karen was anything done at all. And then they still got the order wrong.

I ordered using the mobile app. I received a detailed receipt confirmation of this order to both my email and the app. Upon pulling up to the drive through I was told the order was canceled. I attempted to show the detailed receipt but the first cashier said it did not show this on her screen. That is fine. I understand issues happen with apps all the time. My issue begins when I pulled forward dealt with what has to be the most rude and inconsiderate manager I've ever dealt with.
The manager said her name was Shaneil. I could have this wrong and I apologize if I do. I am beyond unpet right now however. I attempted to let the manager know that I had a receipt from online and wanted to know if she knew how to cancel that since I paid at the store as well. Before I could finish my question the manager slams the drive thru window and walks away. My boy friend and I sat there for almost 5mins before she finally returned with a $10 bill and threw it at us. She accused us of lying and said she just didn't wanna deal with us so here is $10 and we could leave. I again at this point in an attempt to diffuse the situation by explaining what had happened. The manager cut me off again acused me of lying and said she didn't care what we had to say and we could leave and for the second time slammed the drive thru window.
I'm most appalled at this situation because I can not help but feel the attitude, anger and general lack of help from the manager was due to my boy friend and I being GAY. I would of course hope not but honestly can not think of any other reason for the abhorrent abuse displayed by the manager towards both my boyfriend and I. I would the love the chance to talk with someone about this. I have contacted McDonald's corporate as well of course to address the situation with them.
I know we often excuse such behavior as bad day or a misunderstanding but this interaction between the manager and my boy friend and I has no valid excuse. I will pursue all means and remedies available to me to...

Doordash driver should know better than to deliver food that has been sitting for almost an hour.....or quit fn around in between deliveries. This restaurant is literally 2mi from my house and was ordered by grandma as a surprise.
MCDONALD'S of all places should know the food is going to be cold if this is all the drivers fault. It's not rocket science! Yal wouldn't eat it....what makes you think anyone else would!? Pure idiocy!
I ENDED UP DRIVING TO YOUR RESTAURANT AND ASKING FOR HOT FOOD. THEY DISAPPEARED INTO THE BACK WITH THE COLD FOOD AND DIDN'T RETURN....AT ALL....I HAD TO FLAG DOWN A YOUNG MANAGER WHO WAS IN THE DARK ABOUT THE ENTIRE THING. HE WAS AS CONFUSED AS I WAS ABOUT WHAT WAS BEING DONE TO REMEDY THIS. FURTHERMORE WHEN HE FINALLY GOT UP TO SPEED AND GOT THE FOOD OUT I TOLD HIM THAT HE NEEDS TO ADVISE HIS EMPLOYEES TO.....COMMUNICATE.....WITH PEOPLE. THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE WORD SPOKEN TO ME WHEN THE BAG WAS TAKEN UNTIL HE ENTERED THE PICTURE SOME 5M LATER. HE THEN TELLS ME, "WELL I'M ON MY BREAK". DOES EVERYONE JUST IGNORE, GO SILENT, AND PASS THE BUCK ANYMORE. ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL SERVICE ON ALL FRONTS!!! People talk about robots taking away jobs in the future....no worries for this location....your employees are half way there anyway. No wonder Subway is winning the restaurant wars.
