This review is for Sunday brunch -came in at 1230 (they serve brunch until1) - tried to seat me at a very dark table at the front of the restaurant - when I mentioned that they were less than half full, and if I could sit at another table near the window, they said they were all taken (hmmm, but yet they were all empty), after slight push back, they gave me a better table. This is a buffet, where there is an omelette station, and a few breakfast sides. Omelette was way over- cooked, and was tough and hard. The sides were awful - chunks of over- cooked potatoes, with no other ingredients, they passed as home fries. Very under- cooked and slimy bacon, cooked sausage links from grocery- store purchased frozen. Tiny pancakes that were cold. Fresh fruit was only thing really edible. When I returned to my table a very cold cup of coffee was waiting me. Never saw a server the entire time I was eating, never was asked if I wanted water, was never offered a coffee refill or top off. When I was finished, I was one of only 3 parties left in restaurant, so they weren’t busy. Manager was at a nearby table talking to customers at length about how there are so many rude customers who come in and don’t tip. She also talked about how hard it is to get good help. All the time I am waiting for someone to come to my table and give me my check. I finally had to raise my hand, and a waitress who was busy talking to another coworker at the bar, finally came over and gave me my check. The check was for $13 and I handed her a $20 bill. She said thank you and have a nice day. Then she never comes back with my change. After waiting another 10 minutes ( I am now the only patron left, and being totally ignored), I once again have to raise my hand to get her attention. She points at herself, as if I was looking for someone else, and I nodded yes. She comes back to my table, and I ask where is my change, she said “Oh, you told me to have a nice day, so I assume you didn’t want change). I said, no, you told me to have a nice day, and never said a word to you. She appeared annoyed me with me now, and then comes back with change. I kindly told her, I was ignored my entire visit, never was offered water or a coffee refill. She never apologized for anything. The place was not busy, and there was no reason for this poor, inattentive service, and I felt like the waitress was trying to pull a fast one on me by not offering to return change - why would I tip 40% at a buffet? Obviously, I will not be returning for a...
Read moreWent for Sunday Brunch on Mother’s Day. Pleasant atmosphere & staff. Food was good. We didn’t know that brunch was $25 per person and not the usually $14 per person. It should of been mentioned or posted. And 20% gratuity was added too. It’s a buffet where we serve ourselves. I should be be able to decide what kind of tip I want to leave. They poured & left a kraft of coffee, and cleared most of the dishes, so I really don’t think that justifies a tip automatically added. I usually tip 20%, but to not have a choice doesn’t sit right with me. I thought maybe they did it because it was Mother’s Day but seeing some of the reviews it looks like it...
Read moreWe were here for a party and had told the staff at least a month in advance if we could have a specific GF (celiac) plate, we pre-ordered a bbq mushroom impossible burger with GF bun, again this was a month in advance & we were told that GF buns were available.
When we got to the party, we had great bartenders, great drinks & a great atmosphere For the evening. As the buffet opened for our dinner, my husband was told his plate would be brought to him, what was brought out was an unseasoned impossible burger with a sad slice of cheese & limp lettuce and an onion.
We'd definitely go back...
