I’m in Semester 2 at AZCN (previously completed classes at another school, which all were transferred over) all has been phenomenal thus far. The entire team has been helpful from admissions, financial aid, student success to the professors ensuring your success throughout the courses in the program.
If you are in any way hesitant to jump into a nursing program i’d say just do it! The general education classes are nights from 6-8PM a couple times a week(depending if you’re part/full time). The science and math classes are in person but all others are virtual. I’ve got 2 little kids and I’ve had an easy time managing so far. They offer lots of resources and assistance to get you to reach your goals.
If you’re concerned about the financial aspect (which was my BIGGEST WORRY) they take FAFSA and offer multiple payment options if FAFSA doesn’t cover the full costs. They have in house scholarships and you can apply to scholarships from other sources including tuition assistance programs if your company provides that as a benefit.
I am so happy I put my fears aside and just jumped in! I’m so much closer to reaching my goals & creating a better life...

Many students are asked to leave reviews on their first day of touring the campus, often thinking they're reviewing the person who guided their tour rather than the school itself. This is why you'll see comments like, "Oh, Shawntel was great," because people believe they’re praising their guide.
I have left a review once before and was asked to take it down, but I've continued to experience problems and won’t back down now. In my experience, you'd be better off attending nursing school elsewhere. The staff here, particularly the dean, financial aid department, and other administrative offices, show little concern for the students. To be clear, this does not apply to the instructors; I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with them and deeply appreciate...
Read moreI worked with Shawntel during my admissions process, and she was extremely helpful. She answered all of my questions, gave me advice, and made me feel comfortable while making such a huge decision. I have now officially started school, and I have to say how impressed I am by this school and all the staff that work here. Everyone is so friendly, and so helpful, and I feel like I have so much support. The classes are very well developed, the campus is beautiful, and I have never felt more excited and sure of my choices! Highly recommend Arizona College of Nursing, and ask for Shawntel for admissions guidance when you finally decide to take...
