We picked this hotel because the website shows they have “self service guest laundry” available. We even called the day before our arrival date to ask just to be sure. We were told, “yes”. This was important to us because we flew into town from being at a conference (away from home) for 3 days prior to checking in, we checked in here on a Friday and staying until the following Wednesday and then flying to another state for another conference for the next week. We knew we would need to wash clothes before heading to our next destination on Wednesday. On Saturday, I took 3 pair of jeans to the laundry room only to find that the washer on the 3rd floor works but the dryer was out of order. The sign on the door says to use the dryer on the 1st floor. So after washing, I carried my wet jeans to the 1st floor, inserted money into the dryer only to find that it also doesn’t work. I will add that the washer on thr 1st floor also didn’t work. We went to the front desk to report the problem and were told that maintenance would be here on Sunday to fix the machines. I brought all of my jeans to our room and had to hang them around the room to air dry them.
After the first day of finding out there actually was not laundry available, I considered checking out early and moving to a different hotel. (yes the washer worked but who wants to bring an entire load of laundry to their room and scatter it about hoping it will all dry.) We decided to give the hotel a chance bc they are telling us that maintenance is coming to fix it, we should have went with our first gut feeling and checked out early! It is now Monday night, we will have to pack up our things tomorrow for an extremely early flight on Wednesday morning and most likely still won’t have our other clothes washed that we will need for the rest of our trip. We know our next hotel doesn’t have self serve laundry but we didn’t get to choose that hotel. Had the hotel staff here been honest and told us from the start that their laundry facility was out of order, we would have sought out a different hotel.
Then to top things off, we spent the entire day yesterday and today out of our room, (no sign on our door asking them not to enter) only to come back both nights to find that housekeeping didn’t bother coming in. So, no clean towels and on our last bit of toilet paper. Husband had to go down to the front desk at 10pm to ask for clean...
Read moreIt's a fairly new hotel, room is comfortable and internet has been great. That being said, Hilton's CleanStay "committed to cleanliness" campaign is a joke here. They do advertise they don't clean daily, which is fine, but they can't even be bothered to clean once a week (even when requested) for extended stay visitors. I'm staying here for three weeks and let the front desk know I'd just like the sheets and towels changed out on the weekends since I planned to be out and about on the weekends - had no problem taking my own trash out since the dumpsters are nearby. By the end of the first week they hadn't serviced my room so I complained to the front desk and they came the next day. We're going into the third week of my stay and they never came to swap my sheets/towels the second weekend either. I understand taking extra COVID precautions and minimizing services to protect staff, but this hotel appears to have translated that into no services at all. A second complaint is the water heat - they've definitely got some issues with the water heating in this hotel and I've seen similar mentions in other reviews. Most times I showered, the temperature barely got above lukewarm even with the knob cranked to max heat. There were some mornings I had to run the water for up to five minutes before it would heat up to even lukewarm, otherwise I'd be taking a cold shower. There are a lot of things I did like about the hotel, but between the poor cleaning and water heater, I probably won't be staying here again. Also - check your mini-fridge settings if you stay here. Previous guest cranked it to max setting. I didn't catch it when I moved in, so three days into my stay here the fridge froze up and died, and all my food...
Read moreWarning if you do the Hilton Honor's Advanced Purchase Rate, they will try to bill you again. I have used that rate twice here. The first time it was caught at check-in. The second time I didn't catch it till I saw my credit card bill. As for the hot water complaints others had, they are true. I have stayed here 3 times. (never again) You have to run the hot water for at least 10 minutes for it to get warm and at least 15 minutes for it to get hot. Sometimes it never gets hot. Not exactly what you want for water conservation in Colorado. Housing Keeping is not good. We would get a half a roll of TP, conditioner but no shampoo, one bar of soap, etc. It was inconsistent on all 3 stays. The bathroom and closest use the same door. It is very heavy door to open and close. Unfortunately, my wife used the closet to keep her clothes neat for work. With the closet door closed, it just looked like a big mirror and of course we forgot some of her clothes. Called the next day, they denied any clothes were left in our room. Asked if any clothes were left that met our description in case the housekeeper listed it under the wrong room. The response was no clothes were left in our room. I even went down there next week and got the same response. The staff was not sympathetic and their response didn't feel truthful. While leaving the clothes is our fault, but I was very put off by their response and we figured we would get them back given that my wife is small than most people. This is the first Hilton Brand hotel that I have been to that...
