Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Aurora

We have been ordering pizza from this Rosati's location for several years. Primarily because it is less than 5 minutes from our house but the pizza and service is absolutely terrible. However, tonight's experience has convinced us to NEVER ORDER PIZZA FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN!!!

We waited over an hour for delivery and when we opened the box not only was the pizza pathetic and cold it was completely wrong. I called back and spoke to the same guy that I placed the order with and explained the situation. The guy was completely indifferent, did not apologize and did not offer to do anything to resolve the situation. I actually had to ask him if we would be able to have the correct pizza delivered.

We then waited another 1 1/2 hours and I finally had to call back and find out what was going on. I would have expected that our replacement pizza would have been delivered immediately but apparently that was not the case. I asked to speak with the manager and to no surprise it was the guy I was already talking to. By the way, his name is Phil and he really should be fired. I bet any money that the other Yelp posts regarding the rude guy who clearly hates his job is him.

At any rate, he had the audacity to become confrontational with me and start complaining about how busy they were. I really wasn't in any mood to hear excuses I just needed the pizza because I had 3 hungry kids on my hand and the "manager" Phil literally had the balls to then threaten me not to send the replacement pizza. He actually said and I quote "I don't need to send this pizza out." Are you kidding me?

I told him to go ahead and cancel the order. I meant the replacement pizza but he thought I was referring to the $29 credit card charge for the wrong pizza. I initially wasn't expecting that but now I felt that at the very minimum a credit for our next pizza was surely be warranted. Phil, who is very savvy in the ways of customer service. He was WILLING to offer me 50% off my next order. I declined his offer. It is without a doubt that tonight's experience and subsequent Yelp review will cost this location more than $29 in...

Yeah, no. I'm a fan of the taste of the pizzas I've gotten from most Rosati's locations, but we just moved into the area and this one is not cutting it. They recently renovated to give it more of a "sit down restaurant" feel, but I have been repeatedly disappointed and today was no exception. I called to ask a question, but no one answered (waited ~1 min with their outgoing "someone will be with you shortly..." recorded message). I'm close so I just drove over and got a slice.

It was a decent size, but overpriced (almost $4 with tax for one slice...no drink) but the worst part is that it tasted like they forgot to add any sauce. I mean...I could see splashes of red underneath the cheese as if someone had waived an empty can of marinara somewhere in the general direction of the pre-topped pie, carelessly splashing remnants onto the crust, but this thing was drier than my grandma's feet before a good round of the pumice stone.

I called again to ask if they made a pie without sauce by mistake but same result...no answer. Which is weird because when I was there 15 min prior it was dead. No customers whatsoever, and just one guy lounging behind the counter, with apparently...

Our pizza was terrible!! Delivered in 55 minutes, so the timeliness was not an issue, buuuuutttt...........

We ordered two pizzas the first was easy cheese and easy sauce because of my wifes and mine dietary restrictions. We order pizza like this all the time and dont usually ever have a problem. There was virtually no cheese on the pizza. I think the easy cheese and easy sauce was assumed for the other pizza as well even though it was not ordered that way. The 2nd pizza was supposed to be 1/2 mushroom, and 1/2 sausage & pepperoni also had virtually no cheese and sauce, and it was much closer to 1/4 mushrooms and 3/4 pepperoni & sausage, and then was cut so that several pieces had everything on them.

I have eaten Rosatis pizza for all my life, like literally almost all 40 years I've been alive, and this is by far the worst pizza I have ever eaten!!

I could have gone to the store and gotten 2 $4 frozen pizzas and been happier about my meal.

I tried calling to speak with some about this but was left on hold for 20 minutes. Needless to say we will most likely be finding a different place...
