It’s nice to have another donut place instead of just DD, but this place offers rewards for purchases & I have been purchasing dozens of cronuts from this place 1-2 times a week for six months and accumulated a lot of points when I went in today to redeem some of the points they said I only had three points, which is absolutely not true because I never used any of my rewards and of course there’s no explanation for it, so don’t bother joining their awards program because it not worth it! I spent $75 to get those 25 points and only got $.60 credit absolutely not worth it
Update: after some research, realize I had 25 points where I could redeem a coffee for free, a doughnut for free but my last order that I placed the employee decided they were going to give me my rewards without asking me, and taking 5% off my order of $12 which was $.60 so I got a credit of $.60 off an order that equals the equivalent of 25 points …make it make sense I would never decide to take $.60 off my order when I could’ve gotten an free coffee or donut which cost more! So an actuality whoever rang me up, decided they were going to do what they wanted to do with my points without my permission! I spoke with the owner owner, who said she would respond...
Read moreI love these donuts, the people are nice, and these are really just a perfect old style donut I would expect from a bakery. A dozen always comes with a handful of donut holes as well which is always a nice extra.
This last time I needed donuts, I needed 3 dozen for an event the next day. I saw Dough In The Box has an app now where you can pre-order and I thought that would make life easier on me and them when picking up. I placed my order and picked it up without a problem the next morning at my scheduled time.
The donuts I received were excellent, but where I have the issue is that in the app, the "Office Hero Pack" of 3 dozen says it includes "A mix of Cake Donuts, Raised Donuts and Filled Shells Donuts." What I ended up receiving was simply cake and raised donuts. Again, they were delicious, but when you order expecting one thing and don't get what you ordered, it is a let down.
Would I recommend Dough in the Box? Absolutely. Would I recommend the app? No. While a convenient option I walked out the door not getting what I ordered and not realizing until it was too late. I guess I'll just go back to the point at the case method and pick and choose the next...
Read moreDelicious donuts. Customer service lacks like severely. After standing in line for 10 minutes behind a couple, to pick up a dozen donuts I ordered the previous day for my ailing father-in-law, four customers came in after me so five deep waiting. One girl working, slowly, and the other employee sitting down evidently taking his break named, Kay. He finally decides to get up and help his coworker then he proceeds to ask the LAST person in line how can he help her?. By this time I'm at the register patiently waiting and then he comes back out and says who's next?! 🤷 I told him I'm trying to pick up a dozen donuts I previously ordered yesterday and he goes in the back while his coworker takes my money and tells me he will be right out with the donuts. He comes out with the donuts and tries to charge me again and when I tell him I already paid he shoves the box at me. Nice service... Not so much! Probably won't be back. And it's a shame because I'm also self-employed and work in downtown...
