Palmer’s Eatery — Restaurant in Austell

I had the pleasure of finally meeting this dynamic business couple(Ty and Tasha) after meeting them indirectly through my husband. But that's another WHOLE story for another day. I really just want to say thank you to Palmers Eatery for providing my son's Baby Shower with the best food, most professional personality and generally good ppl. On a more personal note: I was having a melt down after getting to the venue that my daughter found online. After walking in to what I can only describe as old and crusty, I thought my son's shower would be terrible. I called Ty and was almost in tears as I told her that there is no kitchen, I had never been in a venue w/o a kitchen. Ty asked me if I was okay and laughed a bit and reassured me that she was good but wanted to be sure that I was. Ty said, "Calm down, Im good to go!". Ty and Jessica, came in and single handedly handled everything foodwise. And they did it with ease. I'm so happy that I selected Palmers Eatery as the caterer for this event. Very disappointed Ive tried to come eat here prior and it was never open today I driving by and decided to try it out based off on the reviews and yall are lying. This is like the one of the worst places ive eaten at fried chicken wings were very light skin with hairs still on them which made me think they didnt care enough to clean for presentaion. I got the tastless cat fish looked pretty but again tastless. Oh and the tamotoe look like the animal chewed it up in the garden. The buffalo wing we okay probably because of the sauce. Mac and cheese tasted weird looked pretty but tasted like spaghetti sauce. Zuccini mix awful. Peach cobbler was alright. No real drinks but sprite and coke. I spent 60 dollars and very unhappy and threw most of the food out so know im trying the South Cobb Diner because Im unsatified and unhappy and was guaranteed good food by the owner. I decided to have a birthday brunch at my home, I spoke to the owners Tasha & Ty these ladies are very professional, reliable, knowledgeable, timely, welcoming and just well rounded genuine business ladies, they came to my home and immediately set up nicely for 30 people, the food was hot, fresh, seasoned, presentations was on point. Everything was AMAZING! My people talked constantly about how great the food was but baby those grits and shrimp sauce was the main topic, there was NO MORE, even some who didn’t eat grits ate it with the sauce LOVED IT especially the Caucasians.
