Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Austin

Went tonight for a spontaneous treat, got there right before 9 and lobby was crowded so we waited in car until it thinned out. As we entered store we were told they were closed and would not wait on us. When I let them know the website states 10pm, the employee pointed to a paper sign stating the new hours. This kinda happened to me about a month ago too except I arrived about 5-10min BEFORE closing to be told everything was shut down. Brodie baskin robbins I have been coming here for years. No worries though, your neighbor Whataburger got my money tonight and probably will continue to do so. I have worked retail/customer service for years. I understand wanting to close but RULE OF THUMB(especially right now) NEVER TURN A CUSTOMER AWAY RIGHT AT CLOSING!!! pure awful. the workers wore no masks or gloves. one of them was touching their face and styling their greasy long hair only to serve my son his ice cream scoop (which he threw away) with ungloved bacteria from his face and hair. One of the workers was coughing a lot without a mask around my other son’s ice cream milkshake. the guy that served my son’s ice cream scoop picked his nose as we were leaving the store after we got our ice creams, it was a mess. the place seemed very unorganized considering there were 4 groups of people in the store with us all taking orders at the same time. please just go to a local ice cream shop instead of this unhygienic place ran by 16 year old’s that don’t know a thing when it comes to hygiene or...

Idk this is a cake that I bought on Friday 5/24 at 2 I picked up. We ate it at around 9 (5/24)bc that’s when my husband got home. Well this cake looked like it had so much freezer burn. It was very disappointing. My family did not even eat the cake part. At least the icecream and whip topping was good. I would never buy a cake from here again. Not worth the $$. You guys should make the cakes the day before I feel like we had a cake that had been just sitting in the freezer for god knows how long.
