BIRRIERIA LOPEZ CABRERA #2 — Restaurant in Austin

My children and I love birra tacos, we are from Iowa, and when we learned that there was a birra pizza, we knew we had to try it. The food was delicious. It was freshly made and full of flavors. The woman who took our order was kind and helpful. She was patient with us while we figured out what to order.

The only thing that slightly bothered us was that it was a food truck, and the dining experience was in a gas station parking lot off of the interstate. We were not sure if we were on a good or bad side of town. Being that close to the interstate as a single mom with 2 kids worried me. Therefore, the atmosphere wasn't inviting. We didn't feel comfortable sitting at a picnic table in a gas station parking lot to eat dinner in a town we were unfamiliar with. We choose to go back to our hotel, a 20-minute drive in order to comfortably enjoy our dinner.

Best birrieria in town for sure. I love this little food truck that i stop by on the way to the airport. one last bite of happiness on the way out. There are couple small tables you can sit, you get a pager after you ordered.

the service is not that fast and the girl who took my order seems like she was having a bad day (and it's only lunch time) she doesnt seem happy or excited about her job. when i asked about different kinds of meats what are the differences, she answered feeling annoyed told me those are just different way of cooking , (THANKS A LOT). so in the end i just ordered something from the menu i had no idea what i was eating.

Just left this location witnessed a guy leaving the truck with gloves on. He went through a gate that he had to use his hands to open behind the truck retrieved some plates still with the gloves on & came back through the gate that he had to also close with the gloves still on and went back onto the truck. I asked the lady at the window was he preparing the food because he never took his gloves off and she said he wasn’t but I didn’t trust it & asked for a refund she wasn’t able to provide with me a physical receipt but a digital one was supposed to come via text which it hasn’t so I’ll have to contact my...
