I had a very unpleasant experience with a Subway employee who identified herself as Gretchen. I ordered online via Postmates at 7:41pm and arrived at the store at 8:05 to pick it up. I identified myself as Henri and stated I was there to pick up my order. She misunderstood me, thinking I said IRENE and stated there was no order for an Irene. I attempted to correct her about my name but she persisted with the mispronunciation. As she had several customers in line, she restated there was no order for IRENE and dismissed me. I persisted and she ignored me. I attempted to show her the order confirmation I received via email, and gave her the order number, but she refused to look at my information. She restated several times that there no order available for me and that the store did not receive the order but continued to ignore looking at my confirmation information. I restated that it was a Postmates order and she finally looked at the pending order tickets and found a Postmates order and called out the name on it as damascus77. I realized she read it incorrectly and assumed the ticket actually read daumas77 which is my Google ID printed on the ticket instead of my actual name. This overall process to identify my order took 10 minutes and was unnecessarily tense. I eventually got my order, but left fuming mad and dissatisfied with overall experience. When I got home, two of the three sandwiches had numerous ingredient mistakes. Still good sandwiches, but, wow, that was the worst Subway experience I have ever had. This employee is certainly not cut out for...
Read more7:30pm all tables were up. My 3 yr old sat on the one booth that was the only one down and open and he was told by a worker to move across a rope line because it was just moped and she didnt want him to get the store closes. This store is not closed until 10pm and across the line no chairs were down. Just four tall seats across a window he couldn't reach. I let her know we just wanted to sit down, and she already made my son feel bad, and since there was nowhere to sit we would just leave. She barely started the sandwhich, and i left a five dollar bill for one bag of chips because her and her coworker wouldnt stop saying horrible things. I asled to speak to her boss, but first she called him amd explained that i was going to complain. She gave me the phone to speak to Moses who was courteous but the worker was shaking with rage so i felt beyond uncomfortable and let Moses know we had to leave. I took a pic of the chairs 2.5 hours before closing and posted it with the google map link. Moses tried to tell me she was alone, so she may be doing things early but it was spotless and two hours before close, and we were not allowed to eat (make a mess) and she wasnt alone. There was another worker and no one in line. Thank you for hearing me out. This was a horrible experience and i felt because i had nowhere to sit that i was going to yelled at or fought. We walked away, and we cannot go back to an...
Read moreThe new employees during the weekday lunch shift are quite bad. They make really sloppy and not proportionate sandwiches. I used to work at a subway in high school many years ago, so I know how nice the sandwiches should and can be. The new workers are slow. There are a lot of businesses/ offices in the surrounding area so the lunch rush can be intense, however the new workers seem to have no sense of urgency. Most people have a timed lunch, and waiting in the line at subway shouldn't take up half or even your entire lunch break, especially when the service is garbage and the sandwiches look like crap. Also, last but not least they overall do not present themselves professionally. It's a sandwich shop so I don't expect a red carpet and suits and ties, but like I said before I worked at a subway and I know how one should conduct themselves there. I disliked the service so much that I decided to not go there for a while to allow time for the newbies to get up to speed. It's really close to my work so I like to go often but I waited about a month hoping when I returned the service, timelines and sandwich assembly to have improved, but it hasn't. I don't think anyone is holding them accountable and to a standard. Please get them up to par or replace them.
And now they closed early today. At least 10...
