Capitol Burger — Restaurant in Austin

This place by all means it's one of the best burger places I've been to in Austin and have been here nearly all of my life since I was born here back in 95. The fella who runs this place and makes the delicious food was very considerate and sweet and of course his food was fantastic. The Diablo burger that I got was very spicy and the mix that he mentioned that he used was absolutely phenomenal to her it wasn't too spicy to where I couldn't eat it, and had a lot of great depth of flavor as well with all the spices that he put in it my girlfriend got the bacon burger and it's around a pound if you get the double and trust me it's filling and for the price point as well it cannot be beat. I haven't had any either lunch or breakfast offerings although sometime in the near future I'm definitely going to have to come down and try them. I've eaten here before. It was good, I was excited to try it again. Tonight was foul. I am allergic to gluten (no bun on burger, not a big deal) I wrote it in the notes of the order and confirmed verbally no bun and i'm allergic. I get home, there's a bun (can't eat it).Also was only a single when I ordered a double. Also had everything on it when I ordered it plain. I also got wings. terrible, fries were the soggiest things i've ever seen. (i ordered 3 fries and got 1?) After waiting 30 minutes in a shady gas station and spending $80 you're kidding me. I will give him credit for saying he will remake it but after waiting 30 minutes i'm not driving another 30 minute round...

My friend and I met the owner and his wife and their kids and grandkids. This is a family business built on delicious food, quality and a friendly atmosphere. My friend ate the Chili Burger and the chili was homemade!! Seasoned perfectly! I ate the Capitol burger, it had the perfect mix of crisp lettuce, onion, tomato and pickles. It came with a generous meat patty that tasted like you grilled it yourself. The fries were not greasy, cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and fluffy and potatoey on the inside Can’t say enough good things about this delicious...
