Kome y Toma — Restaurant in Austin

I had a great time, last Thurs night my first time, my friend is a regular. I didn't have dinner since I was coming from home. I had a margarita and a beer, service was very slow, since they move us to another table. That place is small is not like they couldn't find us. It was pack,mariachis were at full blast playing. BUT when. It was paying time I check my bill, they were charging me for my friends beer, no big deal, I just let her know so she don't have to. Guess what they were charging her too. For the one beer plus, her dinner and other drinks that she consumed. I let the waitress know and she argued with me, the empty glasses were still at the table. She and up removing it from my bill. But hey if they do that to everyone imagine how much tip $$$ she end up with. Since we're consuming alcohol take advantage of us thinking that we're drunk. After I pd she never brought my change back, she tip herself 4.75. I believe it's up to me to tip her or not with that kind of service. But sometimes we're more embarrassing to be asking for the change, or for the overcharge. I WON'T be going back even though I like that place...

It’s a hit or miss . I live across the street from this place so I go in often. A few times the older short lady with black hair is nice at times. She rolls her eyes when you remind her of something SHE forget to bring lol like ( I was raised to respect my elders so i always hold my tongue))damn I’m sorry you asked me for salsa and never brought it to me lol. And also the bartender will bring you drinks to your table that you didn’t ask for and then they try to sneak a charge them to the bill. Why am I paying for a drink that was given to me ??? … but they will make sure they up charge you so check your bill if it seems off. … I once went in an placed an order and before she went enter it in the system I asked her plug that took apply pay and she was like no! And I was ok I’m sorry then I forgot my card so can you cancel that . And she didn’t try to hide the fact that she rolled her eyes. Like gurl! Calm down. I know it’s like a family owned business but dang she need to be in the back office or something.. food not all that it’s just convenient for ppl to eat some food and quick water...

Today was my 1st time coming to this restaurant and it will definitely be the last! I ordered the chicken enchiladas with red sauce (which I do not recommend at all) and on the first bite I took I instantly called the waitress over to let her know it did not taste right. I had already eaten a few bites of my rice so I told her she could charge me for a side of rice but I did not want the plate. She told me that she is still going to charge me for the $15 plate because “the food isn’t the problem, I’m the one with the problem with how it tastes” I asked if I could speak to her manager and she said there was no manager on duty so I had to deal with her. At this point I’m getting upset with how rude and unprofessional she is being and tell her I’m not going to pay for a plate I did not eat nor like. She then laughs and walks away to call who I’m assuming is the manager and then walks over to her computer to take the plate off my tab.
