Crazy Fruits South — Restaurant in Austin

Came in and ordered 4 items from the menu lady at the front gave attitude from the start because my girl was translating for me since I only speak English. We received 3 out of 4 items and waited for the last for at least 20 minutes. My girl then decided to go up front and ask about the last item and was ignored she then gave up and sat down to which I got up and asked for it. Lady got mad and said I have to pay attention for things coming out in Spanish and rudely gave me the last item. I ordered one more thing and she told another lady to take my order because it’s English. I was then charged the item and a customer service fee. I asked why the fee and they chose not to answer. I waited and once again my order wasn’t called so I went up and the lady rolled her eyes and gave it to me. Very bad experience and rude...

9 months ago I moved to South Austin and have been looking for months for a good place where they make good fresh watermelon water. I tried several places with no luck and finally a friend recommended this place to me. I loved even the name but now I call it CRAZY FRUITS= CRAZY PRICES. I have only been visiting the place for 1 month to buy this watermelon water, of very good quality by the way, but for less than a month each time I go the prices are different and higher. They started from 3.75 and last week the last one was 4.85. It was already too much and I asked why this had not happened to me before and the employee's response was: well the prices have gone up and you also ask for it without ice. This evaluation is dedicated to the management of the place and to the consumers in English and Spanish. With great respect, you must respect the prices of a product and not change them in less than a month and the use of ice or not should not affect my purchase. I consider it a lack of respect and I will never go back and I do not recommend the place either. Lousy customer service. After so much trouble, even a co-worker made me her own watermelon water. So see you never CRAZY PLACE.

Hace 9 meses me mude al sur de Austin y llevo meses buscando un buen lugar donde hicieran una buena agua fresca de sandia. Trate varios lugares sin suerte y finalmente una amiga me recomendo este lugar. Me encato hasta el nombre pero ahora lo llamo CRAZY FRUITS= CRAZY PRICES. LLevo solo 1 mes visitando el lugar para comprar esta agua de sandia, de muy buena calidad por cierto, pero me menos de un mes cada vez que voy los precios son diferentes y mas altos. Comezaron desde los 3.75 y la semana pasada el ultimo fue de 4.85. Ya fue demasiado y pregunte porque esto no me habia pasado antes y la respuesta de la empleada fue: bueno los precios han subido y usted lo pide ademas sin hielo. Esta evaluacion se la dedico a la direccion del lugar y a los consumidores en ingles y espanol. Con mucho respeto, ustedes deben respetar los precios de un producto y no alterarlos en menos de un mes y el uso de hielo o no no debe tampoco afectar mi compra. Lo considero una falta de respeto y nunca mas voy a volver y no recomiendo el lugar tampoco. Pesima atencion al cliente. Despues de tanta molestia hasta una companera de trabajo me hizo la propia agua de sandia. Entonces hasta nunca...

The first time I visit with friends the food was great, the cheeseburger with fries and mangonada was on point, we visited again same day and time and service was bad, the cheeseburger was okey the fries where missing seasoning and the mangonada tastes different this time was more of artificial taste and more sweet and less spicy. I asked the lady if she can make it just a bit spicy and she said she cannot, that I can add only what they had on the stand. I mentioned the spicy sauce taste different from last time and she mentioned they recently change it.

Unfortunately I don’t think I would order this again, but will try something different next time and we will see...
