This place literally has my heart! I just stopped by and had maybe like $13 + change on my debit card (couldn’t remember the exact balance) so I figured I would grab a small bite to eat here as a little treat for myself. I’ve been once before and loved it and knew that their prices were reasonable and service was friendly and quick. I tried to do some fast mental math and ordered three tacos, figuring out if my card declined, I would just get two instead. No biggie. It ended up declining — probably due to tax or my own miscalculations on the price for 3, but no big deal, I asked for two tacos instead; but the staff here insisted that since it was such a small difference that they would be happy to make me three tacos! 🥹 I was blown away by their generosity, and the food was, as I expected, spectacular! They have my business for life! Definitely try the chicken tacos on flour. Their sauces are a great complement as well! Same goes for their watermelon juice. Altogether, our total was $54—but without the burrito, it would’ve been $42, which for Austin is honestly a steal and very reasonable.
The moment they asked, “cilantro, onion, and pineapple okay on it?”—I knew they knew exactly what they’re talking about. If you know, you know: pineapple in pastor is a must. The flavors were spot on, the service was great, and our food came out super fast. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing more...
Read moreCame here to grab lunch before hitting the road back to Dallas. It’s a quaint food stall with a small seated area for customers to enjoy their food. Being that it was an extremely hot day, we ordered our food to go and ate in the car. They have various food items to choose from along with freshly made juices.
I ordered the four chicken flautas with no cotija cheese but they ended up adding no cheese at all (it came with a melted cheese as well). This made for a dry meal that I didn’t eat in its entirety. I can say the salsas were good and my coworker did enjoy the...
