Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Austin

On November 16th around 9:00 p.m. I went to dairy Queen to order food for me and my girlfriend. As I approached the door I was stopped by security and told to get off the property. And I told him what reason does he have to tell me to get off the property? He told me it doesn't matter I need to get off the property that I'm trespassing . He continue telling me I need to get off the property. And I kept questioning him as to why when I'm trying to order food for me and my girlfriend. He tells me that he is management of the property and he has the right to tell who to get off the property at any time at his discretion . And of course I I became upset and confused. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me a manager has nothing to do with that that he is the one in charge of the property and he's the one who makes the decisions who's allowed on the property and who's not. And again I told him I was there to order food for me and my girlfriend and he insisted that not there I wasn't. He then takes out his pepper spray and pointed in my direction and threatens me with it if I don't get off the property I will be pepper sprayed. And I told him to take a long walk on a short pier . Events praise me with pepper spray in my face and in my mouth as I was trying to understand why he did this to me he threatened me and came at me forcefully and I tried to get away from him with pepper spray in my mouth and in my eyes. So I'm feeding this stuff out of my mouth and he insists that I bet on him and I was under arrest for assault. Then he is in full force arrest mode . So now he is chasing me in the parking lot telling me to get down because I'm under arrest. I then proceeded to get away from him because he was being very aggressive he deploys his taser gun at me hitting me in my stomach and in my chest. As I was being tased by the tasers he then jumps on me and knocked me to the ground and keeps telling me to put my hands behind my back I'm under arrest. I kept defending myself and fighting him back and asking him why what did I do wrong? He would never answer me. So then fearing for my safety in my life I get up and try to get away from him again he then chasing me down again and dumps on my back as I was trying to get away from him. Still questioning him why is he doing this to me. Still fighting him off of me. He then teases me with his stun gun . Telling me to quit resisting and put my hands behind my back. Still asking him why is he doing this to me what did I do for him to do this to me ? The whole time he just kept saying put my hands behind my back I'm under arrest. After stunning me with the stun gun he then takes out of his baton and starts hitting me on my back my hips and my legs with his baton . I finally gave in and let him put my hands behind my back and place handcuffs on me. Still questioning him why he's doing this to me what did I do wrong for him to do this to me? And all he kept saying is because I wasn't allowed on the property. He then causes Austin Police department which I get arrested for assault on a public servant the security guard. That was the most disturbing, terrorizing, confusing situation I've ever been in my whole life and I'm 53 years old. I am going to pursue charges and lawsuit against dairy Queen. Dairy Queen you need to be accounted for the actions of your hired...

If you are going there for food, read this. I didn't purchase any of their treats...so I can't speak to that...but here's my experience. First of all, it was Sunday and unfortunately for me, chickfila was closed. I have never been to DQ before... but I saw this huge line of cars and decided that if all of those people like it, maybe it's really good! We went and we ordered a chicken sandwich (which ended up being a chicken strip sandwich, large fries, chicken fried steak, and sweet tea. First of all...the sandwich had no taste to it. The chicken was dry and the bread was terrible. So the sandwich was really sad. The fries were also not good...the sweet tea was alright...and the chicken fried steak was terrible...also dry with no taste. We ordered the large meal, and they gave us small fries, we went back in and fixed it, they were nice about it...but for one full meal and an entrée, we paid $26?!!!! It was waaaaay overpriced, no, it was extremely over-priced!! Wait, there is another thing I forgot to mention...we could see the little 15 year olds playing in the back while making the food and touching everything with no gloves on...so in all...we ate there out of desperation because we were hungry... but you have...

I came in to pick up my Uber eats online order. Was ignored for 5 minutes. I said picking up for my order. Employee working the mobile counter said give me 2 minutes. The customer next to me asked if I already ordered - I replied yes waiting for mobile order. Employee at mobile counter said I’m bagging it up give me a minute. I replied that I was talking to the customer.. Employee at mobile counter asks me to confirm order. I said my name and told her I was not a driver. She said I need to get a manager for this order. Manager on duty lady comes over and asks me to confirm order. I tell her I’m not a driver this is my pick up order. As I grabbed the food- she tried to rip it from my hands. Unacceptable. This service was distasteful and will not lead you to win the 2025 customer service blizzard spoon.

I love Dairy Queen have been coming to get food and frozen treats since a child. My food today was okay. I will never go back to this location again. Rude...
