Mayfield DQ — Restaurant in Austin

I've eaten here twice and it was really delicious, great customer service, and enjoyable experience both times. Staff was really professional on both occasions and they were never rude to any of the customers (I know it sounds weird to say that but in Austin these days it's getting harder to find a professional and polite food service staff) This is a relatively new Mayfield DQ location whereas some of the other ones have been around for quite a while. I would say the same, five stars and same great experience for every location, but wanted to take the time specifically to commend this one since I've eaten there twice since it first opened and it's definitely in my top considerations if I'm ever at Southpark Meadows and looking for a good meal and...

I ordered a HungerBuster combo. No pickle or mustard. A Dr. Pepper, fries and gravy. After asking me 3 times if I want mayo instead, I said yes. And Cheese? Yes. And gravy? Yes.

I get to the window and was asked if I want a HungerBuster with mayo. I said yes, with cheese, tomato, lettuce and onion. And gravy. “Please pull forward.” I GOT a regular HungerBuster combo with mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickle and cheese. No gravy. I went back around, waited in line. I told the girl I didn’t get my gravy and she got it. I didn’t mention my screwed-up burger - it’s my lunch hour, not lunch two hours.

The place is beautiful! And it seems they have a very festive spirit because there is a Christmas tree and music, also the place is very clean and the lady that gave us the food is very nice. But the people that take the food orders in the cash place do not pay attention to the orders and seem to not even know what they had. For example, I asked him for a kid combo with a hamburger, chocolate milk, ice cream and a banana (you can chose to be a banana or fries, my brother wanted banana) he said there was no banana, but then my dad order a banana split and they had 3 bananas, so how can he say there was no banana but ended up...
