I have not been able to order a pizza from this location in several months (since August). One time, two hours after the order was placed and I had left to eat somewhere else, I received a phone call from the delivery driver that she was outside. I told her it’s been two hours and she, understandably flustered, responded “well I’m the only delivery driver working ma’am.” The next time I tried to order (assuming they just had one bad night) I received a call about 15-20 minutes after placing my order that they were short staffed and my delivery time would be around an hour and a half to two hours, and if I still wanted my order. I canceled. Today, I tried to order again, this time at 3:45 in the afternoon I assumed they might not be as busy. I was called (but missed it) for them to say they were short staffed and update me a delivery time. I called to check on my order at 4:30, the woman let me know she called and told me 20-30 minutes the pizza would be here and I was fine with that. Just after 5 my delivery arrived. There was a car with multiple people in it from the sound of it. My pizza was incorrect. By the time I noticed i had just missed flagging down the driver. I called back and spoke to the woman, she called the driver while I was on hold to see if he still had my pizza and there was just a simple a mix up, but he did not. Some conversation with the people around her and she sorted out that they will make me a new one ready ASAP and she would drop it off on her way home from work in about 20-30 minutes. This woman really went out of her way to help an impossible situation. This dominos has been struggling, and understaffed for several months and I’m impressed with this woman’s dedication to make just one order right. Needless to say, this store won’t receive any more of my business until I know something BIG has happened. I wish this woman the best of luck who has been so kind and patient to me today. But this business is completely failing at making, and delivering pizzas. Do not order from this location.
Good luck...
Read moreI was sent an email advertising their Perfect Combo Deal -- two medium one-topping pizzas with bread bites, cinnamon twists, and a two-liter Coke for $19.99. I made both of my pizzas pepperoni. The ordering process went smoothly.
When I arrived to pick up one of the pizzas had only 20 slices of pepperoni on it, not the 30 that the emailed advertisement clearly showed (I didn't bother looking at the other pizza, it almost certainly had the same problem). I expressed my concern to the person behind the counter (a young white male who seemed to be in charge, he reminded me of Barry Kripke from The Big Bang Theory with maybe only a hint of the character's speech impediment). He offered to make it again and I agreed.
I sat back down, then "Barry" told another employee that I was "upset" that my pizzas weren't made as advertised. I walked back over and stated to him that I wasn't upset at all, that I just didn't care for my order not matching the advertising. He said okay.
I sit back down, and "Barry" told another employee that the pizzas were rejected because they had only 25 slices of pepperoni. (Not 20 as I had claimed. (Exaggerating to push the shortfall into the "no big deal" category to try and make me look bad?) He also added sarcastically with a smirk, "And the customer's not upset . . . not upset at all." (Clearly disrespectful.)
I immediately walked out. It's bad enough when you (collectively, as a business) try to cheat your customers, it's quite another to be rude to them. And I'm still not upset -- if they want to treat their customers like garbage that's their problem, not mine, and there's plenty of pizza...
Read moreJust wow!! I called a location closest to me who said they could not take my order due to my address. They advised me to another location who I called which was this one I'm writing about. I called told them my address and the person over the phone puts me on hold TO ASK THE MANAGER RICK IF THE ADDRESS WAS OK FOR THEIR LOCATION. The employee comes back and says yes everything is good we can deliver to you. I spend 10 minutes with my order and all goes through, they took my card info and get this payment processed and everything. I hang up happy customer only to get a call 5 minutes later with the employee stating to me "I am sorry we do not deliver there, but we have voided out the payment and it will get back to you in 3 days." It's not the employees fault, instead its manager Rick's fault for stating yes we deliver their to his employee. I talk to rick and ask how this happened instead of directing the call to why he told his employee that yes we deliver to that address, he stated well the previous location you called doesnt know how we operate. If that was the case when your employee asked you if you would deliver to my address then why say yes! Makes no sense. Management should have at the very least gave me the customer credit for taking time to order with you when I thought it was correct and OK when it was not. Pathetic to say the least. I never write with this much hatred but cmon now, it was specifically said if they delivered to my location or not and should have ended there not after a call back with 3 days for $47 to be put back...
