Homeless tents completely took over park, mainly on south side of park. Commonly walk my dog through the park. There are close to 25 tents now lining drainage runoff. There are over 100 articles of clothing lining the fencing, with tons of garbage, scooters, and camping pieces simply tossed into flood runoff area. This morning saw several campfires with people breaking branches off of nearby trees.
In the afternoon/evening it is not uncommon to hear 50+ homeless people yelling and playing music loudly.

Read moreThis paragraph is an update. Most of the park is not safe to walk in now because of the homeless encampment and the filth. What a shame. It gets cleaned up periodically but not for long. I certainly would not allow any child of mine to go walking through the park without tight adult supervision. The little playground in the back is still nice – with supervision.
