VEGANS BEWARE - Ordered the “Impossible Vegan” ramen. They brought it to me with egg in it, then proceeded to argue with me for 10-15 minutes that eggs are vegan & you have to request it without egg if you don’t want egg. I tried to explain multiple times that (1) if the name of your menu item has the word vegan in it, I should not have to request no egg to make it vegan. (2) Egg is not listed as an ingredient in the description on the menu, so I would not even know to request no egg.
They offered to remake it without egg & this time just brought me a bowl of broth & veggies. Not even noodles & no Impossible “meat”. They told me they would go back & add meat, but by this point I was worried they would add actual animal meat & told them to cancel the order & give me a refund for the ramen.
I was dining with my son & his partner & when my son’s food arrived it also had egg, despite being ordered vegan. Clearly they do not understand the difference between vegetarian & vegan.
We also had a couple of veggie sushi rolls which tasted very “off”. I...
Read moreBeen here in person several times and always loved it. So I ordered take out for my partner’s birthday and was quite disappointed. He ordered the beef bento with extra chicken and beef for and extra $10, which was NOT added. We ordered an appetizer of spring rolls and they were soggy. I don’t know if anything else was wrong with my partner’s bento meal, but he was clearly bummed. And lastly, my ramen broth tasted flat. I literally had to add salt and spices to mine to flavor it. I have two pics comparing them. The flash kinda makes it hard to tell, but hopefully you can still see. One is from in person where it tasted great. The other is from my takeout order and you can see it is lacking that rich red oil. It really dampened the mood for my partner’s birthday, which is very upsetting. We have friends coming into town next week and we were going to take them here, but after this experience we’re going to hold off...
Read moreI stopped by Eurasia Sushi for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and well-seasoned everything was! I ordered the Tonkotsu Black, and it was incredibly light and refreshing, just what I needed. I didn’t feel overly full after eating, which I really appreciated.
I also tried the Black Lemon Tea. It was a little sweet for my taste, but I added some water and it balanced out nicely. I’m sure you can request it unsweetened or adjust it with your preferred sweetener.
The service was quick and efficient, I dined in, and even though the space is small (around 6 tables), there was no long wait. The food came out fast, and everything felt very deliberate and fresh.
This spot is also super convenient, just up the street from my job, so I’ll definitely be back to try the sushi next time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a lunch that’s light, flavorful, and fast without...
