I had ordered a Consuela travel bag for $325 from Sue Patrick and it arrived quickly which was great. I decided it was too big for what I wanted so I went to return it in the store. It was raining when we walked in but we parked right in front. The bag had gotten a few rain drops on it. We walked to the counter and I said I needed to return the bag. She asked if it had it's original tags and I said yes. It was brand new. Never used. Still had the tissue in it from when I received it. She got her manager and she asked the same thing. Does it have it's tags? I had to look and see but they were there and I had my receipt and it was within 30 days. The manager started to tell me that because it had some rain drops on it it was ruined and she couldn't resell it. I said you have got to be kidding me. She reluctantly acquiesced. They were both so rude and unprofessional. I can't believe you would want these people representing your name. And they need some training because on the Consuela website it tells you they can get wet and even says you can wet the leather on purpose to make it look even. Not to mention we saw the few raindrops dry as we sat there waiting on the return. There is absolutely no reason in the world to be so rude to people. Assuming you both had a bad day and would normally be a little more pleasant. But last time I will shop there. I will spend my thousands of dollars at places that actually treat people with respect. Sue Patrick must have too much business if she is okay with her employees being rude to potential...
Read moreI shop fairly often at Sue Patrick. I especially enjoy the bargain racks, because the clothes on sale are still in pristeen condition! I want to tell everyone about an experience I had, though. I went in, just looking and found a darling outfit, which was fairly expensive, but worth it. I paid for it, full price, and left the store. The next day I tried on the outfit; I realized I loved the pants, but the matching blouse just didn't look as I had hoped. About a week later, I took the blouse in to return. The woman at the check-out desk, Jennifer, took the blouse and I told her I was going to look around. Turns out I had a good day at the bargain rack, and found several things on sale. When I went to the check-out counter, Jennifer checked me out, but then observed that I had brought in the incorrect tags for the blouse I was returning. I said something like, "Oh, no!", but then realized I would just have to come back, since I didn't have the correct tags. Instead, Jennifer said she would honor the exchange, and asked me to please bring the correct tags in as soon as possible. Wow! I haven't been trusted in that way, or treated with such respect since I was growing up in a small Texas town. Needless to say, I'm a Sue Patrick fan, even more now! Thank you, Jennifer, from the bottom...
Read moreMine was an online order. I wasn’t familiar with the brand of clothing I was interested in and wasn’t sure what size to order. I was also concerned about the timing on delivery as I was going away and didn’t want the order just sitting around. I emailed the store after hours and within a couple of hours received an email from Jay assisting me with my questions. I placed the order which was delivered in just 3 days. The two sweaters I ordered were beautiful and just the right size. I’ll definitely be ordering...
