Checked this place out shortly after it opened and I’m planning on going back soon now that the weather’s sweltering again. The owner helped me and my friend decide which flavor to get and he was incredibly personable and informative. I hear all the gelato is made from scratch and I could definitely tell. My espresso flavored gelato was the best I can remember having (and I order espresso/coffee flavor everywhere so I have lots to compare it with). I love the inside of the place and how it doesn’t feel all sterile and corporate like so many other ice cream and gelato shops, tons of natural light and overall just very summery if that makes sense. It’s in a great location but the parking lot is small and tricky so I recommend walking or taking public transport if you can. Fantastic spot overall and great to support a small local business. I can’t wait to try the pistachio gelato and...

I found the owner of Geletoro very welcoming. I came in thinking it was juiceland, but found out they had moved. I really just needed a place to sit down and read. The owner didn’t pressure me to purchase anything. I’m one of “those” people who like to plop themselves down on someone’s couch and just hang out. He helped me feel very comfortable which is unusual. Businesses need to make money in order to do well. I was thrilled to get some hazelnut gelato, delicious, rich and creamy. Both the wife and husband team are from Turkey. A country known for their hospitality. Some people are nice because they want your business. These folks just seem to want to welcome people and feed them. If you like gelato, come check it out and...

This might be my new favorite ice cream spot! This location has been many things over the years, and I'm super happy with the latest iteration. First off--the vibes! They were playing soothing, classy classical music, which helped me feel relaxed. The flavors! I'm allergic to dairy and they had not one but THREE dairy free flavors when I went. I sampled them and they were all super smooth and creamy. It was hard to choose. And the value was amazing for the quality and quantity of gelato that you get ($5.50 and you can split two flavors). I finished my entire cup and never felt like it was too sugary. Just the right amount of sweet. I will definitely be back! 2025 Update: Gelatoro is STILL amazing and my favorite cold treat...
