Ordered online through the website. I was right across the parking lot, hoping for a quick stop in, pick up and go. Website said "7-9 minutes" but I wanted to be extra sure that it was ready so I have them around 12-15 minutes before walking over.
I walked over and at first analysis, counted only 3 cars in the p-lot. None in the DT line... "sweet. They'll have my order ready for sure. WITH a big red ribbon on it." uh... Nope.
Now, mistakenly, I opted to pick up my order at the counter. The restaurant was definitely going through some plumbing issues andb nearly immediately was overwhelmed by that sweet aroma. You know which one I'm talking about: the one that you're only lucky enough to experience if you live by the West Sacramento water water treatment facility or are standing next to an overflowing bin in a dog park in Chinatown--at high noon.
Eyes: totally burning. Sense of smell: completely overwhelmed. Stomach: more than past nauseated at this point. Waiting at the "Internet order pickup counter" and praying that I can keep my stomach right-side-out long enough to not contribute to numerous mystery substances on the incredibly sticky, super dirty floor. ..and this continues on for (no exaggeration) 14 minutes.
Three employees behind the counter. Not one of them acknowledged my presence or gave me an update, anything. No one even made eye contact. The employees did all stop preparing orders at numerous times to help an employee (possibly manager?) whom was stationed in the lobby try to find a thumb ring that he lost on shift.
Long story short: exactly 32 minutes after I was supposed to arrive in "7-9 minutes" I was finally given my food.
I'm dusty trails at this point. I get home. Just to realized that not only is my order completely wrong, the items I received were not even complete menu-level quantities (ie: the box with the chicken nuggets has literally 2 nuggets. No sauce. Never ordered chicken nuggets.
So they did manage to get my main entree correct--the chicken fajita pita--but it was very chewy, tough, and now cold and just didn't "sound as good" as it has when I ordered it earlier.
I've decided definitely not to try to get a refund or talk to management. I think it will be easier to just to boycott this chain for a while. I would be worried about retaliation... Especially on a makeup order because these glorious "i-don't-give-f*ck" kind of employees came across as the kind of wonderful people that would spit in your food or " accidentally" drop it on the floor or the list goes on.
If this lovely establishment mix it onto your road trip itinerary I would definitely touch as little as possible and definitely wash your...

Yet sales associate Patty indicated that the order did not populate on the screen so refused to make order. She said the only option was to request for a refund or reorder and repay. When asked for the owners name, she refused to provide the information and asked that we wake up early to speak to someone else. Bad customer service overall.
*Update: waited in parking lot from 2:50-3:06 am to contact the bank for a reimbursement as instructed, and within minutes a vehicle approached us with high beams who refused to move from the drive thru to get us to leave the location. Employees inside restaurant left the kitchen completely to meet with individuals inside the vehicle. Restaurant dine in was closed to the public but a minor was seen peeking out from the restaurant.
