Ate here recently with my daughter. The kiosk wasn't allowing us to complete our order and had to get in line with the front counter instead. I informed the person that helped us that the kiosks aren't working and he said, "yeah, they act up." We got our food, all were mediocre, and quality has gone down compared to before. My husband noticed we got 4 charges from Panera the next day. I call today to inform the issue and need a refund of the 3 charges from obviously the kiosk errors. I was put on hold since the manager was busy. She then got on the phone and I explained to her what happened. She then tells me I have to show a print out statement showing the charges and bring it to the store. This is a huge inconvenience for the second time now and I calmly told her they need to fix those kiosks since apparently it continues to be faulty as the other employee agreed that day. She didn't say anything afterwards and I had to make sure she was still on the phone. I told her factiously she sounds like she really cares. I use to love this company for usually working with them on donations of their left overs for school functions but this manager has disappointedly dropped Panera to the lowest for me and my family. I can understand showing proof of charges, an email would have suffice but to make us go all the way out of our neighborhood since we were visiting the area, no apologies of the inconvenience and to be treated like we are at fault when Panera technically are the thieves, this manager and Panera need to have a basic understanding of customer service. Don't be in service industry if you don't know how to handle to be a professional and decent human being. Not only does your food fail but now even your character...
Read moreI came here with a brand new $15 Christmas gift card my sister gave me last week for Christmas. I admit I haven't been here in over 8 years because the menu has nothing I like. I searched for something for lunch after just leaving the gym moments earlier. After appearing clueless for several minutes, I finally decided on ordering a large macaroni and cheese, a regular drink, a small piece of bread and a fresh brownie. With tax it came to $15.01, I was 1 cent short as I don't carry and cash or change. I ended up giving an undeserved 50 cent tip to have something to put on my debit card. After finding a seat, my order was ready, I enclosed a photo of my $15.01 lunch. Notice the bowl is half full. To me, a large bowl should be a FULL bowl. I mentioned this to the counter people and they laughed when I said it looks like it's half eaten already. Apparently they said something as a person came to my table to check on me. I told him I was unhappy with how much food I got for a full $15. He said the prices recently went up. Yes and the portions size went down I enjoyed my lunch very much as my sister bought me several gift cards for Christmas. I won't be back. Lunch shouldn't be this much for one hungry person. Austin is getting too expensive. For reference, today is December 29th, 2022. Several friends told me that doesn't look like $15 worth of food.
Thank you to my dear sister for...
Read morePopped in this location to grab a cup of coffee on my way to a work meeting. Coffee was lukewarm and the cup leaked from the bottom. Resulted in my having to throw away an over half full cup of coffee. Completed a survey sent to me by Panera and received this argumentative and aggressive response back from the GM. I filled out the survey primarily so the store would know they might have a broader issue with their cups. I would have left it there had I not received this response.
"I’m so sorry the cup you received was broken and the coffee wasn't as hot as it should. Why did you not say something to a staff member though when you were here in the cafe?
We could have fixed that expeditiously and gave you a treat for the inconvenience, as we do not make the coffee cups but coffee takes a minute to replenish for you.
And to leave us a 1 out of 5? 1's are taken of the utmost seriousness and if you were disrespected by my staff or felt in danger or compromised I would want to know in the moment!
So please elaborate on your visit so I can handle things accordingly."
Sincerely,
Dejah Broussard General...
