The food is decent, I’ve tried the chicken and the ribs, not too bad. It’s nothing to write home about really.
The cooks get the food out quick.
What really irks me is the service, EVERY TIME I go there the ladies have an attitude like they absolutely despise working at the restaurant. I went on a Wednesday after 2p in case the owner needs to know. But it doesn’t matter if it’s the more plump short girl or the black haired girl. Both ALWAYS have an attitude.
I don’t leave reviews often, but I went out of my way for this one. I always smile and try to be professional and respectful to service employees, the moment I go in this place I’m greeted with a look on their eyes like I shouldn’t be there making them interact with me.
I do not feel the least bit welcomed. The only reason I get food from this place is the proximity and convenience of living nearby, otherwise I’d go to another place.
And I know the owner might care or not, and respond to me on here. But before doing that, test your employees, hell, they might even be your family members. Who knows. But they never get a tip from me, their customer service SUCKS.
Just to be clear, this isn’t a one off thing, like they’re having a bad day, I’ve been to this place at least 5-7 times in the last two months. Every time their...

Number one, as far as grilled chicken (pollo asado 🐔) that is something they’re ok in, I’d give em 4 stars, they grill it well although you can tell the chickens are not the best quality.
I decided to try something new last time and it was a big mistake. I ordered the “suadero “ torta and idk what they think suadero is but they definitely did not serve me that. Suadero is supposed to be soft like pastrami or good bbq brisket, they chop up in big tough nasty chunks. The meat was old and even smelled OLD. Like I could tell they don’t sell much suadero and I was getting some old meat that had been sitting there for a while. I’m so disappointed in what they call suadero. You know how some old meat like bacon will have that weird greenish reflection?? That’s what was going on w this torta. The pictures can’t really capture it but it also smelled too much like lard; which I’m not a hater of lard but it’s gotta be done right., I am never ordering anything else besides...
Read moreThis is without a doubt the best taco & burrito restaurant in Austin. You can customize every order however you want, and they have the best red and green salsas of anywhere I’ve been in the city.
The best part is it’s also extremely affordable.
