Wow. I mean …. Wow. I I feel like I have been missing out for 7 months since Que Divino opened. But turns out I have been missing out much longer as the restaurant is the result of their success as food trucks. We came one evening led by the high reviews for the drinks and, did I mention Wow!? We tried fresh made top shelf frozen margaritas with blanco Don Julio. They did not disappoint! But we followed that with a couple of fresh made frozen piña coladas and I have never had a so perfect blend. Nothing short of perfect. And the cherry on top was …. the cherry on top! A far cry from the sweet stemmed cherries you get on top of cakes in many places. These are marinated in-house and full of flavor. The bartender was very capable and kept us informed and entertained the whole time. What a treat. Before we left, we perused the menu and the breakfast options looked amazing. The whole experience was so good I decided to come back for brunch next day. That turned out to not be a great idea as they only serve breakfast until 11 ( I got there by noon). But given their background with Tacos, I tried the lunch tacos instead. The Campechanos were great and one benefit of coming at noon was that the bartender was back at work and served up another great Piña Colada. So many mouth watering choices left to try. Please come back to this review for updates. And please go visit Que Divino and support an Austin local business. Your only regret will be that you cannot try everything in one visit. PS. they also cater and have electric car chargers outside (including. Tesla)

We use to go to Que Devino back when they were a food truck and get the heart shaped tray for Valentines Day. Since they moved to a store front in Austin, we decided to make our way for the Valentines Day. I messaged them on Facebook about the $45 Heart tray and asked if we could eat it at the restaurant, he said sure, and no need to order it ahead of time. Although delicious we get the bill at the end of dinner to find the $45 heart tray to actually be $60! For the same exact product yet he doesn't have to package it and we order drinks?! We asked for the owner who claims the $45 is only for take out and same tray at the restaurant is $60. False advertisement and a scammer. We will never be going back here again and will be looking into who else to report this too.

The food was very delicious! Tried the queso birria tacos and they were really good. It came with Spanish rice and a side of broth. Also tried enchiladas suizas which were just as good. Unlike many places where the chicken seems a bit dry and flavorless -this wasn't the case here. Chicken was seasoned and juicy. The side was charro beans and they tasted great! You definitely need to get the Choco flan-it was scrumptious! Even the chips and salsa before the meal was great! The restaurant is clean and the customer service was on point-thank you Jesse! There's a bar and outside patio. Definitely worth a visit and we'll be back for breakfast next!

I'm not a big fan of people saying negative things as I try to live by "if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all" but... last night we had high hopes for this place considering the online reviews. With how disappointed we were, we want to save others from being disappointed so I'm posting our experience. I don't know where the 4.7 stars could possibly come from because the food we had last night and the service was far from worthy of more than a star. All tables that did not have someone sitting at them were filled with dirty dishes so finding a seat you had to wait until the table was cleared. Ok...so... that really isn't THAT BIG of a deal. But... the waiter that addressed us proceeded to tell us all things you wouldn't want an employee telling a customer about how their day went. We sat down and after a little bit were able to put in a drink order. I asked for a virgin margarita- the waiter said "let me check to see how busy the bartender is." He pokes his head around the wall - looks back and me and tells me he can't make me a drink, it's been a long day and things are a mess right now. Meanwhile drinks are delivered to other tables. We get our food (I got cheese enchiladas) and it was terrible. Not sure what's up with the rice but neither of us could eat it, note... my guy will pretty much eat anything and never complains, he could not take a second bite. The enchiladas could not be cut with a fork, the tortillas were hard and there was hardly cheese at all in the tortilla. I did not know you could mess up cheese enchiladas. The beans weren't bad but had large chunks of onions in the refried beans. I had such high hopes from the reviews and the look of the place outside but we walked in and saw the tables filled with dirty dishes, that was one red flag - when the waiter... bless his heart began spilling his guts about his day and basically blaming others for it being crazy. We knew it wasn't going to be as good as the reviews said. Disappointing that an owners investment isn't taken as seriously by their employees or their cooks. We will not be going back to this place but do hope things turn around for them and...

We went because I had seen FB advertise as having kareoke and live Dj "Every, Saturday night". Not true. We asked our waiter about the room in the back and he said, "that's for special events, kareoke and dj but I don't know if they'll have it tonight. Let me go ask. He never came w/answer and no dj or kareoke started. The Paloma i ordered did not taste like it had any tequila and was very watered down. The food is way overpriced for the quality you get. It's almost like they made a pot of "guiso" ,stew meat, and then serve that with or with out juice depending on your order. You want tacos, they drain the meat. You want more stew like, they add the juice. My torta was so soggy between the watery beans, wilted salad, tomatoes, and stew meat. My husband's tacos were falling apart so he ate with a fork. Muy Aguevo, te dan salsas que piquen. If you like 12in burritos covered in Velveeta like cheese, this is your place. Que Divino!, you have the right location for that. Pero porfavor, no promocione kareoke, dj, y baile todos los sabados si la clientela no es la apropiada. Service was at best mediocre. Waiter seemed bothered and didn't know menu. This restaurant needs to decide their target group, stick with it and let others come, try, and decide. 5star on music over speakers. If you're gunna play music at a Mexican place, it should be Mexican. Salsa/merengue/ bachata music is not Mexican music. Goodluck. We will...
