NEVER, EVER go here. I made an appointment (same day appt) for 2pm. I arrived on time, handed them my paperwork and was told to sit in the waiting area. I did. 45 minutes later I was curious as to why the two patients that arrived to the office after I did where taken back and seen before me. I even spoke to the lady sitting next to me in the waiting area and she informed me that her appointment was for 2:45p so surely I would go in before her.....NOPE they came and got her before me. I went up to the front office clerk and asked her what the hold up was (politely) and she went back and spoke with the doctor. She then informed me that it would be another HOUR, still I waited patiently. I was taken back to the exam room and x-rays of my foot were taken. I sat in the exam room until 4:20pm and still had NOT BEEN SEEN by the doctor. At this point I could not wait any longer because I had to pick up my nephew from school (which I was late for). I walked out of the room and one of the technicians came up to me and said "you're next" I said " I can't wait anymore, I dont understand how a 2oclock appointment turned into a 430 doctor visitation?" It's not like I just walked in I was GIVEN an appointment that day for 2 oclock, which I had to take time off of work to do. I walked back to the front office clerk and asked for a refund of my copay. As I was doing so, the technician I spoke with as I left the exam room went into the other exam room and informed the doctor that I was leaving. The doctor did not come out and apologize, in fact she sounded relieved that I was leaving. I WILL NEVER RETURN, NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS...
Read moreI have had a hard time leaving this review because I like doctor Hyde but thought it may be helpful to someone else since there is no recent reviews. Dr Hyde has been my doctor since 2008 first for shoulder surgery and the rest for maintaining my knee arthritis with injections that kept me going for years and am grateful for that. She is great with explaining and gives patients plenty of time. I decided last year that it was time to have my knees replaced. I did not check any other doctor since I believed in her. After right knee replacement I noticed that my knee is not straight and after few months of following her suggestions wearing knee brace and PRP to get it straight which didnât work, she said knee is few degree off . I wanted it corrected since it caused issues .I had second surgery 4 months later. This time the knee is somewhat straight but I have extreme pain above my knee that has not subsided even after 6 months. It is worst than arthritis pain. I stopped going to her because she had no solution for this issue. I am an active person I have done a lot of PT and go to gym almost everyday. Another doctor opinion is that it was...
Read moreAs a healthcare provider myself, I can say that Dr. Hyde is one of my go-to specialists. I'm a chiropractor with a spine and extremity rehab clinic here in Austin, and I've been referring my knee, shoulder and hip patients to Dr. Hyde for the last 8 years or so, and our patients always love her.
Dr. Hyde is conservative (she's not quick to cut), she does excellent work when surgery is the best option (our patients have quick, complication-free recoveries), and she does a fantastic job explaining things for patients (she'll make little drawings that show how your knees & shoulders work, and she uses great analogies to help you understand joints & procedures!)
I've been in the operating room with her for several surgeries she's done on my patients, and I can say that she and her team are very skilled, dedicated and professional.
Bottom line, if one of my patients needs a surgical consult, Dr. Hyde is top of my list to get us the very best experience and results. Highly recommended.
