Had cataract surgery here, performed by Dr. Thomas Walters from Texan Eye. Considering the Dr. is a partner at this facility and that this is the only place to have the surgery done by him, and considering the intentional (I'm sure) similarity in names, you'd think they are affiliated. Well, apparently not when it comes to insurance coverage: the Dr. and the anesthesiologist are both in one network and the facility itself is in another. No one told me this, including the person who confirmed all of my insurance coverage. So a couple of months after the surgery, I received a bill for over $2500 from Texan Surgery (separate and in addition to the copay I had already paid the doctor for my surgery). To me, that's worth 2 stars off. The extra star off is because of the 'cattle car' and 'assembly line' nature of the service there. I had an appointment at 8AM and I ended up sitting in the waiting room (with other patients, during this COVID pandemic) for 1 hour and 15 minutes. When I was taken back, it was into a small area with multiple patients 'pods' that were just large enough for the 'chair' and some room for the nurse to move around it; pretty cramped and in too close proximity to other patients in my opinion. After the surgery and the 'wakeup/recovery' period, I was wheeled out to a small counter by the exit of the 'back area' and given a cookie snack pack and a can of juice and wheeled out the door. Considering the amount of time I was there, the crowded and cramped conditions, and the 'rush you through' nature of the process, I cannot recommend Texan Surgery or Dr. Walters for cataract surgery (and I will be going elsewhere when I need it for...

Which m eans you had all the information you needed to make that decision a month before instead of the day before my surgery makes you very Inconsiderate to people's lives or schedules or...
