One star for bad customer service (visited on 8/4) five stars for the food

I ordered a crunch wrap supreme and the man working the counter did not take my order in a respectful way. First, I was half shouted at "I can't take your order for the next 10 minutes" before even saying a word, I simply just walked up to the kiosk and was told that. 10 minutes I later I said I would like to order the crunch wrap supreme. The man working said they ran out of the meat needed for the wrap and cant serve it to me (the tone of voice here was short and sharp to me).

I kindly suggested that I was open to using another meat that was used for the tacos as a substitute for the wrap instead. He then proceeded to give me attitude when I suggested this and responded with a cold "That's fine. I guess I can do that." and looked at me, and so then I asked, "Could I substitute it with the taco meat? He then said " What do you want?" and obviously did not want to help me with me order. I was caught off guard wasn't sure how to handle his response and asked what kind of taco meats were available, he then said "they are all listed right there" in a very rude manner. I randomly choose one, unsure of which would be good. He then said "Its $12.45. Here." and handed me the card reader to swipe.

I understand he was the only working the truck and probably had a busy day. I didn't appreciate the way he handled my order, I know I was being difficult trying to substitute the meat in one thing for another but you don't need to be rude about it or make me feel dumb about not knowing which taco meats were available.

I would love to speak to someone about this encounter as I regretted even ordering here in the first place because of the terrible impression from the man working. Great food, but I wont be returning to...

Editing to reply to the RUDE response from the owners who don't seem to know what the words "as if" and "seem" mean: check your trashcan and you'll see our meals in there. It's also not incorrect that my food was cold and hers was bland. We haven't even talked about the poor customer service, (as demonstrated by the owners too) the fact that we've tried to go here before but couldn't bc they randomly shut down on the Saturday we tried, the person taking our order not even knowing if the Philly was available and cutting us off to ask, the menu advertising wheat buns which wasn't what was served, my actual sandwich not even being prepared to the ingredients list that was on the menu. All of which I wasn't even going to mention but since the owner wanted to act like I'm lying we can talk about it all. But thanks for asking me to not return to a place that I wasn't going to return to!

I'm typing this review as I sit here with my food in front of me.

The quality of this food is BEYOND disappointing. I ordered the Philly cheezesteak, which came out ice cold to the point of being inedible.

My sister ordered the Texan burger, which came out with seitan bacon that doesn't seem to have been prepared at all and was just put on the burger right out of the pack. The burger fell apart upon her first bite. The cheese wasn't melted at all. Her "seasoned" fries were incredibly bland as if they seasoned the frozen fries before frying instead of after.

This meal was over $30, and it was NOT worth it. They should be ashamed of themselves for this poor quality.

My disappointment is immeasurable, and my...

The food was good, but we waited for 40 minutes 😲 it’s a food truck so you think they’d be rather speedy, especially considering what we ordered, but no we waited an excruciatingly long time for mid food.

We got the breakfast toast and the quesadilla, which was supposed to come with tater tots but came with fries instead. They did end up offering us a free water which was nice because there’s only outdoor seating and it was middle of August in Texas.

EDIT Re: Owner Comment Totally understand the limitations that come with a food truck style establishment. I will add, we arrived at 12 pm. The truck ended up being able to open closer to 12:10, and we were one of the first people to put our order in when the kiosk was ready to accept orders. I’m not sure if y’all started out in the weeds bc of a delayed start, or if there was an influx of online orders that came in before the staff was ready, but I just wanted to give y’all this feedback for the future. Would love to try Revolution...

My partner and I have been vegan for about three months now, and we were thrilled to come across a vegan restaurant so close to home. We came after lunch, and they were out of their fries, so we ordered a bit of everything else. The fried pickles really hit the “I’m craving something fried” spot, while the Philly and Mac n Cheese satisfied my cheese craving. My partner ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and was very satisfied. We will definitely be visiting RVK again in the near future! :)
