Sagebrush is awesome! There’s two stages inside for live music, pool tables, and a huge back lot with a “Party Truck” that serves drinks, fairy lights and a bunch of tables. A group of friends came to see Ms. Mack here and we all had THE best night. Between the two stages, there is a good amount of room to dance, which is what we did pretty much the whole time!
Along one of the walls inside, there is a silhouette of the dessert with a neon light sunset on top of it and it’s my favorite thing about Sagebrush. With cute little candles on every table, this place is definitely a vibe!
I had a frozen strawberry lemonade that was so good and had the perfect ICEE consistency! All of the drinks are priced really well, so you won’t feel bad about getting a few good drinks.
The staff is great, and that’s always something I have to highlight because of the increasing stress that’s being put on the service industry, so...
Read moreThis spot's a top notch honky tonk with killer music and even greater staff. Sagebrush is gorgeous inside with a nice sized dance floor and great back patio. We booked for a group event and working with Chasen was a privilege - I had a ton of requests for our group and this legend jumped through hoops to make sure each and every one of us were well taken care of - the same could be said about their entire staff. This team knows kindness, good business, and how to burn the house down with great tunes & hospitality - I'd be lying if I said there was a dancefloor more deserving of...
Read moreCould be a great venue, but the aggressive policing on the dance floor was over the top and a harsh interruption to the otherwise good vibes Austin’s live music scene is known for.
The bouncer inside seems to be on a power trip and inconsistently enforced the venue’s policy according to his whims (for instance, masks on in between drinks, no drinks on the dance floor—while chatting it up with people not even wearing masks, and not at all confronting others with drinks on the dance floor). He got up in me or my friends faces several times. Overall it left me with a soured experience and felt like for whatever reason I was targeted and constantly being watched, despite being a compliant and respectful patron. That’s...
