I love this place! Great quality, cheap prices! I've been shopping here for a few years. The meat department always has a great selection, and it's fresh. Don't let the stacks of meat deter you. They are constantly rotating the stock, are very friendly, and always willing to customize for you. Most of the employees speak decent English, so communication isn't a problem. Even the store manager has helped me himself on several occasions. Look for the daily specials. Each weekday they have a different special, that is concurrent week to week. For example, on either Monday or Tuesday (I'm not sure which)of each week, they have boneless/skinless chicken breast for less than $2 a pound. Decent produce selection, just make sure you wash it first! I have never had a complaint...

I hate giving up one of my favorite meat markets in Austin but I want to give them more business!

We mostly come in here to buy meat to BBQ. Everything that we've had.. And it's been a vast selection... Has been delicious and fresh.

Everything that they season and marinate in house is my favorite. My favorite thing to grab for a weeknight dinner is their al pastor. You must get it.

Being from South Texas.. The border not San Antonio I was missing a taste of home. This place definitely fills that hole.

I recently tried the cárnitas from the restaurant inside of the market and it was to die for. At $7.99 a pound I think it's pretty fair. They take the pieces you're getting off the whole as you stand there....

I went specifically to get around 10 lbs of ground beef to make hamburgers for a cookout. Another grocery store didn’t have anything higher than 15% fat ratio and it didn’t really look that fresh anyway. I went to QC Meat Market and although my Spanish is atrocious, they were wonderful enough to find someone who also spoke English to answer all of my questions and were so patient with me. I had bought hotdogs too just in case someone didn’t like the burgers but they turned out GREAT, I didn’t even bother with the Oscar meyer hotdogs in the end. Thank you so much!!
