SnoRideATX — Restaurant in Austin

I visit Austin frequently and came across Littlefields park when we saw a lot of parents and kids playing in a gated play yard surrounded by food trucks. Everyone looked like they were having a blast so we parked and went inside and so glad we did! There was a coffee place, a tex/mex truck and the sweetest little SnowCone truck- SnoRide!!! The staff was super friendly as they were bombarded with kids shouting orders for 15 different flavors of Snow-ice and toppings, I couldn’t keep up with the orders but they handled it like champs and the kids were super happy! I had no idea what to choose,15 different flavored syrups- 10 different toppings!!! Never got to choose a topping on my shaved ice before so I wasn’t sure but I settled on Cotton Candy/Cherry with snow Cream topping and it was seriously delicious. The PERFECT treat on a hot summer day in Austin. The play yard was also very professional looking- they had picnic tables- adorable lighting and mister fans (what a relief) and a big tree out front to shade the kids play area so the little ones didn’t get to hot. I asked if they booked private parties and they said! You can rent that area out and I thought it would be such a perfect private area for my baby shower late this summer! I wish I lived here! Would totally work for a kids birthday party, school field trip, but at night I think it would be great adult party cause the lighting is so romantic! I threw my sons birthday party at SnoRide, and it was a fantastic experience! Coordinating everything was a breeze, and the sno cones were a hit with guests of all ages. The shaved ice was delicious, and the unique flavors were a big hit. The face painting added an extra layer of fun, and guests kept complimenting it! The beautiful space SnoRide is set in truly makes it a hidden gem for special events. The employees were incredibly nice, professional, and accommodating.
