The food is always decent (it’s fast food)
HOWEVER, for the past 2 or so years this location has messed up the blasts.
I’ve been going to this location for YEARS AND YEARS even in my childhood. And blasts used to be perfect with candy. Stirred and plenty of candy of your choice dispersed throughout. Sometimes even whipped cream on top (they seemed to not do this anymore but I’m not pressed about that)
However recently like a year or so, this location can no longer manage a blast. I’ve given up. They give you a cup of icecream. With the wimpiest scoop of m&m stirred in. that is if you even get someone who stirs it. Hardly any candy in it at all. You just get a cup of icecream with a dozen m&m. Might as well just go get blue bell from the store.
Today, I decided to give it another shot. Today was the final straw. Hoping they’d do it better after years of disappointment with no candy.
got a blast that looked Promising as there was maybe 20 m&m on top? Turns out that’s all that was In the cup. A lump of m&m on the top, not even stirred or anything. Even still, those 20 mini m&m would NOT have been enough for a medium blast. EVEN IF STIRRED as it should’ve been. VERY DECEPTIVE AND LAZY. I was the only one in line as well. The picture shows it blended ALLLLLL the way through, like a blizzard ripoff. If it’s shows that on The picture, why cant you do that? False advertising. 10 seconds to spare is too long when I was the only one in line? (I know how long it takes to stir. I used to work at an Icecream shop that makes similar)
We asked the lady on the way out for more m&m and she gladly gave us a TINY TINY bit more (not even a significant amount)
The bottom is just ALLLLLL icecream. Don’t even advertise it as a candy blast if you’re not gonna deliver it or even make an effort to stir it… 10 m&m sitting on top of a lump of pure Icecream is not what the picture shows. Or what sonic does at any other location.
I should’ve just stuck with a lemonade. Sucks to see such a good product portrayed poorly at this location...

Absolutely horrible experience at this Sonic. I ordered a Frito Chili Cheese Wrap and PAID extra for jalapeños and onions (both clearly listed on my receipt). When I opened my wrap, there were NO jalapeños and NO onions anywhere — just soggy chili, cheese, and chips. If you’re charging customers for add-ons, at least make sure they’re actually included.
To make it worse, my drink was almost entirely ice with barely any soda. That’s just ridiculous. My fries were fine, but nothing special, and the wrap was bland and disappointing. The whole meal was not worth going back to fix, but this shows the lack of attention to orders and quality.
And here’s the kicker — I even left a tip. So I literally paid extra for ingredients I didn’t get, a drink full of ice, mediocre food, AND tipped for the privilege.
Staff should be reading the order before sending it out. Between the missing ingredients, the drink filled with ice instead of soda, and the overall poor food quality, this visit was a complete waste of money. Do yourself a favor — skip...
Read moreThis Sonic is in a nice location and does a booming business, but good luck getting your order. Maybe you have to go through the drive thru. I got there and checked in and waited 20 minutes. No one came except when they tried to bring me the wrong order. I pressed the button, waited another 5 minutes with no one answering. It was packed when I got there but cleared out mostly about 10 minutes later, so that shouldn't have been an issue, especially not for an order consisting of one soft drink. At that point my only option was to sit behind a few cars in the drive thru. I had already wasted half an hour waiting so I left. Looks like from the reviews that this isn't uncommon. I'll stick with the locations on Manchaca or Southpark Meadows from now on.
Edit: I did report it with the contact form linked below, and received the refund I asked for, but nothing resembling an apology of any sort and nothing at all about escalating it or sending it to the franchise owner. Just "here's...
