Sadly I have to give 1 star, there is no ZERO star option…
Honestly, I am not one to complain but I really thought I need to write this and if nothing else, let the manager or owner of this place know what’s happening here as this is no way to run a business….
Feedback is a gift, in saying so, here we go:
We arrived, placed an order (3 tacos) and decided to dine in. We were the ONLY customers in the restaurant (2 adults and a 5 year old). The gentleman took our order and we sat down. After 30 min of waiting and watching people come in and out and pick up theirs orders, we went and asked what’s happening with our order. We were told that they have a lack of staff and they are all in training (there were 3). Coming from a hospitality background, I showed a bit of pity and said ok no worries and asked to follow up on our order. The gent said he would and seemed to be apologetic and I told him that I would wait outside and come back in 5 minutes. In 5 minutes I come back and I ask about my order and a lady shows up at the counter and asked for my name. I gave it to her and the response was “we don’t have an order under that name”. Naturally after 35 minutes of waiting in a “fast food” restaurant, you kind of start to loose your patience. I gave her my receipt and then the gent who took our order said “it’s not my fault”, someone from the back came ( I assume supervisor) and said she called my name but I was not there and it’s like the food within those 5 minutes was either a) thrown out, b) eaten by the staff or c) never even prepared. Not a single apology was provided, and pretty much we were blamed. Given that we were now there for 40 min waiting for 3 tacos, we gave up and the joy of having a taco vanished. We asked for a refund. Again, no apology given but the same ridiculous excuse that they are all new and in training was provided. This restaurant trains their customers to “wait”. I don’t know what the issues are here but there is a HUGE problem here. Do yourself a favour… until something changes here, SKIP this...
Read moreThis Taco Bell...oh my god. It's horrible. The worst Taco Bell I have been to in my life. Which is really saying something and it's sad considering it's in a very nice area. I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION! Go to the one on Lake Creek, it's not the nicest of areas but at least you get better service there!
Every single time I go there, they're out of everything. I think it's because the people working there are just trying to get out of there early so they tell us they're out of everything when I start to order. The first few times I went the outside parking lot lights that are usually on timers, weren't even on even though it was before closing time. They do not want anyone to come there.
BTW, Taco Bell on Parmer, here is what your store hours say:
FRIDAY: 7:00AM - 2:00AM SATURDAY: 7:00AM - 2:00AM
I get off of work at 1:30 AM. Those of us that work this shift, don't wanna go home and cook after work. I hate to be that person that rolls up 20 till, but it isn't closing time yet.
I've been told "we have no beef" before. Today it was no nacho cheese, no side items, no tortilla for the gordita. The time before that? No tortillas period. I'm so irritated by all of this, I'm wanting to talk to the owners of this franchise. This is no way to run a business.
And when I wouldn't back down with my order tonight and they realized by telling me they were out of everything it still wasn't gonna get me to go away, I got a sour face and a slammed window as we were leaving.
Totally unacceptable. I know you're not happy with your job and all but it might be time for a career change if you're acting like that. That or the managers really aren't getting their inventory together for...
Read moreThe only positive about this location is the location. For those who go from north Austin to cedar park/leander, this place is on the way home from work. The food quality is really bad compared to other Taco Bell locations in and around the Austin area and central Texas area. If you order an item, like a burrito for example, this will come with very less ingrediates. All other items that I've tried here generally contain very less food - For example, the amount of beans and cheese in a bean burrito or quesarito, is very less compared to other locations. I'm not sure why there is so much of a quality difference among different taco bell locations. I've done drive through and dine-in. Their drive through becomes very busy during the peak dinner rush hours between 6pm-8pm. So you have to be prepared to wait a little longer in the line. But once you get to the window, its pretty quick. I've generally not had to wait for long. Dine-in is painfully slow. Everytime I've gone there for dine-in, the experience has been sub-par. During one of our visits, we had to wait close to 25mins to get an order of burrito and a chalupa (2 items). They definitely should improve that. In addition, one a couple of occasions, I've had wrong ingredients. I order vegetarian food and have ended up getting beef in my order. The problem I'm already home with my order when I realize this and its a waste of money. I recommend that the management make sure the items are prepared with sufficient amount of contents like beans/meat etc. And also make the dine-in experience better. And finally, make sure the orders are...
