This has got to be the worst Taco cabana in the Universe. HMmmm where do i start ......well first of all me and my husband went for a late night snack around 12:30 midnight we pull up to order and no one responds at the menu board we have to say hello several times with in a 5 min window before someone acknowledge we were there. Finally some ghetto bored sounding guy responds in a voice sounding like he was sleep. so we order a drink with no ice 2 tacos and 3 extra tortillas after we order we proceed to pull up where there was only one car in front of me that stayed waiting for their order about 15 mins. so then we finally pull up a girl with silver hair comes to the window to get our money and give us our drink. when she gives it to us it has ice and we said no ice ...ok no big deal...so we tell her we asked for no ice she takes the cup back to what looks like the other side of the store and took another 5 min to come back only with the drink with no ice...so we wait another 10 min after we get the drink and she gives us our food when she arrived at the window we proceed to tell her this is a horrible establishment they are super slow for no apparent reason and we notice that our tortillas was not in the bag so we tell her and we proceed to tell her our order is incorrect and ask her why is it taking them this long they seemed to be on drugs she closes the window in our face and then proceeds to take another 10 min to make the tortillas i asked her did they go to mexico and get the tortillas and then proceeded to speak to her supervisor which came to the window after we told him about the horrible experience which he did not seem to worried about i called up there the same girl that we spoke to answered the phone i aske to speak to a manager she then told me she was the manager and she was lying because the manager got on the phone and told me he was the guy that was there but "he was off the clock" i asked him if he was off the clock and didnt care about everything that happened why even get on the phone i told him i was writing a review and also calling corporate. I also told him i been to the riverside and research location and THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. its a bunch of kids working there that do not care about there job and act like they are at home with no home training DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND IT SEEMS THAT THEY GO TO THE WORST PART OF MEXICO TO GET THE FOOD AND COME...

Second, we ordered our food and it took over 40 minutes to get our food and sad part about it was….. we were the only ones there. Fast food is for convenience to your customers who are trying to get in and out!!!!!!
1 employee working on cleaning and the other 3 just walking around trying to make themselves seem useful… what seems like centuries our food finally came out and our tacos were just threw together , queso spilled everywhere and my moms cabana bowl that had chicken was colder than a night in December. You think if they took so long the food would at least be fresh.
I wanted to get my money back just for my cabana bowl, but she tried to make it seemed she refunded the money to the card , but what did you even refund if I payed with cash??
Lord this place is going down and down as the days go by.
The other time I was here they slammed the drive thru door on a lady’s face because she wanted her food to be remade.. didn’t even try to give her money back. After today I’ll go else where.
Customer service is something y’all lack and need more training. Honestly hire anyone here like just look at them 💀
Oh and why is the trash overflowing and food sitting in the middle of the floor , I can only imagine they don’t wash there hands before they leave the restroom.
I use to come here as a kid and the fastness and respect from the manager and employees back then were amazing.
How do you have a whole employee walk out of the door and says she quits because y’all are horrible
And no I don’t care about no apologies and feed back that you’re going to give you’re “employees” who are barley making it.

Read moreFirst off let me start off by saying, that I've been a fan of Taco Cabana since the 90's. But as of yesterday they have lost my business forever. Me and my mom ordered breakfast tacos and I ordered a steak quesadilla. My quesadilla tasted kind of old, and was over cooked. We got our order about 11AM CST. Then, as the night went on, about 6PM CST. Me and my mother's stomach starting feeling really bad and felt like we we're going to vomit. The next hour me and my mom are in the bathroom vomiting our brains out, so hard that it even gave me a massive headache, my mom got it even worse, she started to feel lightheaded and almost fainted. Needless to say I called 911. My mom spent all night in the hospital and they told her that it was food poisoning! I also Got sick with food poisoning. I have contacted Taco Cabana corporate office and Taco Cabana issued me a refund, and they are most likely going to pay for my mother's hospital bill. I also heard from a friend that when he went to this location 2 days ago that the employee at the window was not wearing a mask. If I would've known this beforehand, I would NOT of ordered from them. I will also be calling the Health Department of Texas for them to do an inspection on this location. The worst thing about this whole situation is, tomorrow April 13th, I have a new job to start. Now I don't know if I will even be able to start because of this garbage. Needless to say, I will NOT be doing business of ANY type with this location ever again. I can't risk my health or my Mother's health who already has enough health...
