I am A Disabled Combat Veteran With Two Traumatic brain injuries and I have Slurred speech and I Asked for a Beer After Church Sunday I Am Pretty sure, I Don't Drink while driving and Obviously Not to Church. We Got to the Store and it took them 10 or 12 Minutes to say will be there in a minute. Manager comes to the Register and My Wife always ask me What I want and I said One Beer Is Not a Criminal Intent, Guy's says For that I will need ID, Looking true all my Belongings witch including a Huge Bag for My Service Dog's Needs, I figured out that My Wallet was Left in My Vehicle. Well my Wife knew that it would be Faster if she gets it because I am Disabled and do take normally more time to move my appendices and The Service Dog. Well she asked me do you want it, I said yes Is Sunday and we got a Six pack home al start here and drink two more Home. She goes Out to get my ID and all I said I should make a little village so that I make the laws in that little village and no One Aks me for I ID but we are in the Public world and all laws apply to every One. And He said Sir, you are Being belidrant and I am making a desition not to Let you Drink, I am like what, he is Like you have to leave or I call the police and he escaladed the situation for No reason, calling the Cops and everything I left Offended and felt that the manager is Not prepared for Social business or has a Lack of social Skills to adequately address costumers with Disabilities or impediments because he will Miss interpreted all the Time. I felt Very Bad for no other reason than that I am a Disabled Combat Veteran with Service Dog. Sad Management, I will summit my Complaint to Taco Cabana HQ. There's is no need for this treatment to a Veteran. I got in my Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter Fully Loaded Customise, I guess he Has No Love for Veterans and Mercedes-Benz Vehicles. Never in My Life I expected to be treated with such disrespect for No apparent reason, Besides the Law that specifies that A person that is under the influence of alcohol and is noticeable difference between Sober and Drunkenness are Obvious to A Corporate of that establishment. In the other Hand, You dont need to be Rude and condescending when you talk to a Disabled person especially a Disabled Combat Veteran. Rude, rude and unbelievable to the point I left Before I started a confrontation with this Uneducated misinformed worker. Shame on you and your poor Social communication skills. I expect Better treatment to Our Veterans, Especially from Taco Cabana, Since I am Vegan due to the fact that I have Crohn's Disease and I have to be very careful about what I Put in my Digestive system Or it can Kill me.
Me and my wife were very exited that Taco Cabana had Vegan options and My stomach was doing very good for the first time in a long time, With texmex food. I hope Taco Cabana can explain why Such a Negative Service. People need to be careful judging a Disabled person. Joshua Ace, Former Retired Combat...
Read moreOn November 9th, my visit to Taco Cabana turned into a frustrating saga of incompetence. Despite a seemingly pleasant drive-thru encounter, my order for three bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast tacos was replaced with steak tacos. A call to the manager, Stacie, revealed the mistake, and I was offered the option to return that day or the next for a replacement.
Opting to reclaim my correct order the following day due to work constraints, the ordeal took a turn for the worse. Waiting at the drive-thru window, I was directed to the front by a woman with the promise of prompt service. However, I found myself parked outside for an intolerable thirty minutes, witnessing every other car in the drive-thru being served ahead of me. The lack of priority and respect for my time reached an infuriating level.
Taking matters into my own hands, I walked in the rain to retrieve my order, only to find the staff had conveniently forgotten about my presence. Their dismissive response, mistaking my order for soup, and subsequent internal chaos showcased a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. I strongly advise against patronizing Taco Cabana unless you have a penchant for enduring an eternity of incompetence and flavorless tacos.
The manager's failure to refund my money on the initial day led to wasted time, lateness for work, and an overall appalling experience. The only silver lining was the unintentional surplus of tacos, which benefited my coworker. Amidst the chaos, one employee stood out for his genuine apology and eagerness to rectify the situation – a lone beacon of care in an otherwise indifferent environment. I wish I would have gotten his name, because he should be commend for...
Read morePlaced online order. Was to ready at 7:18. Got to pick up at 7:24. Order was not ready until 7:40. Got home items were missing from my order. Was told that it would another 10 minutes to get order ready. I live 2 minutes from the location. If the items were made correctly wouldn't they be in a container that you forgot to give me? Asked for a refund, told that since I had an "online" order refunds had to be completed by customer service. Called customer service and nobody was there to pick up. Kept ringing and ringing. Finally a voicemail picked up and said to leave name and number and we will call you back...Loving this customer service. Have to wait while my other food gets cold or get a refund from the 1-800 number that MIGHT call me back.
Update 3/16/21: Still have yet to receive a refund ($10 - over a week) for the missing items from my order. Spoken with customer service and a district manager. The amount of time I have put into getting this refund is ridiculous. I would let the company keep my $10 vs. the amount of my time dealing with this poor customer service experience but it is the principal of the matter at this point. I AM TELLING YOU ORDERING ONLINE IS NOT WORTH IT!!! Going to try customer service again and then get my bank involved.
Update 3/24/21: Taco cabana finally processed my refund after all the hoop jumping and phone calls. Almost three weeks to get money back for something not provided...
